Harbor Pines- Named in honor of the wonderful pines that surround the natural harbor which served as a shipping port during the 1800's copper boom.
This is a one room cottage with a queen-size bed. Harbor Pines also has a bathroom with a single shower. It has no kitchen but has a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee pot.

A message from the owners:
As a child, I spent my summers enjoying the relaxed lifestyle the small community of Eagle Harbor offered. As an adult, I brought my family up to enjoy the community as often as I could. I am so excited to be able to share a piece of that with others.
Our 3 cottages were part of the original Lake Breeze Resort in Eagle Harbor. Built in the 1920's, this resort had 15 cottages that sat on “The Hill” overlooking the harbor. As time went on, some of the cottages were sold, and we now find ourselves lucky enough to own four.

Great Place to Stay
These cute and cozy little cabins were the prefect place to stay and a wonderful hub for adventures in the Keweenaw. The owners were so nice and made it easy to get ahold of them if there was any questions or concerns. The property had a lot to offer and is in such a great location. Eagle Harbor is such a wonderful little town.

Cute and cozy
Loved the location. Loved the little Cabin. Truly felt like home. We thought a more private beach area was available... And a private grill or place to grill. But it is what it is. The lighthouse location was beyond beautiful. The area was spectacular.

The cabin was very clean. Very nice area, especially if you want a good away from the hustle and bustle and just relax. Beautiful location not too far from copper harbor. The parking was a little tight, but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Could be cozy
Wow what a great little place this could be. I imagine the owner has not stayed here in cabin 8 for awhile. The stench of the room was overpowering until we could open windows and run fans; appreciate that. However the old, dirty rugs and dresser that smells and appears was retrieved from a dumpster or goodwill (which is acceptable if they were taken care of and cleaned)are probably to blame for what can only be described if one experiences this smell first hand. (Body odor mixed with 50 plus years of neglectful cleaning) In my opinion of course. The space appears cluttered, outdated and neglected. Let me be clear-The age of the structure has made no difference in my perception of this property and could actually be quite quaint. If the space were cleaned and refinished inside with quality products; remove the rugs and refinish the dresser would make a big difference. All in my opinion...of course. The linens were stained; response to this issue was addressed and an offer to fix was made. However 930pm was not the time for someone to bring clean linens when it should have been inspected before myself or any other guest arrived. I distrust the quality and effort made immediately upon discovery of this issue; despite trying to make something right after arrival. This was a good lesson in you get what you pay for. I encourage the owner to stay there for 2 days and take a look around. The location to beaches and everything summertime in the UP was perfect for us. Dreaded the room

Nice place
We enjoyed our stay. Only issue we had is that there was no place to sit inside or right outside the cabin to relax. Suggest replacing King bed with queen to allow for a couple of chairs.
