People were nice, but …Was dirty and gross feeling. Pealing paint on tile in shower, hair on bathroom floor, carpet gross, saw a cockroach on window sill inside our room in the morning!! Ewwww… Somehow I thought Wyndham meant clean and better quality…BIG mistake!

Location was convenient to the venue however if the two rooms our party rented, this one was the only one worth the rate we paid. The other $200 room, y’all should be embarrassed to charge those exorbitant fees for such a meager room. Shame on you for price gouging because of supply & demand.

We came out to Tennessee to see STS9 at the caverns. When we were checking in a very nice worker, named Happy let us have a conjoined room with our friends. That made us very Happy to say the least :) thanks so much for your great service Happy!

I never stayed at this hotel, I booked this hotel by accident, thinking it was the Smokehouse Lodge. I called the hotel and even had Hotel.com call to see if I could get a refund, or a voucher for a one night stay,I know it was my fault in doing this booking, but i would think the hotel would have accommodated my request with a good customer relations, but i was wrong they wouldnt give me either. After reading the reviews about this place, i wouldnt want to stay there anyway. Shame on hotels.com for having this dump on its list. And shame on this dump for not having better customer relations... I highly reccommend staying at the Smokehouse Lodge, stay clear from this place as they dont seem to care about the clients. And even tho this hotel is independently owned i would never stay at this chain of hotels ever because of how they handled this situation..

The first room was dirty. We asked to be moved to another room. They told us that another would not be cleaned until 7:00pm. We went out and came back at 6:30. Our room was ready but on a corner next to a stairwell that was the site of a party until after mid-night.

Doors wouldn’t lock, bedsheets were dirty, dirty wash clothes left on the shower rod, would not fix the chirping smoke detector. House keeping had several rooms open at one time so people were going in the wrong rooms. We left and found another hotel. Even after checking out and getting a receipt showing only one night stay they still charged my card for 3 nights.

We stayed at this as this was the only close motel to The Caverns that we could find. It was a pretty decent place for an overnight stay. The location is also super convenient with a bunch of restaurants around it. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who is traveling for the caverns show

Everything was great, we had 2 loads of laundry due to a hike in a muddy cave. The washer was busy all the time. Maybe a note to kindly remind others to remember to remove laundry in a timely manner and a small table to accommodate laundry that needs to be moved out of dryer. Thank you.

You get what you paid for. Not the fanciest place but is ok enough for an overnight stay when you need a break from a long drive. Our bed felt like there is a ditch in the middle. It was hard to sleep. The room was clean overall. Breakfast can be skipped. Basic continental food. The eggs tasted weird. Again this was not a 5 star hotel so i didnt expect a Hilton like service

Could be a nice place but ..
The room was actually pretty nice but they don't appreciate your business. Breakfast was yuk and gray. We stayed 4 days, told housekeeping on 2nd day the sink drain was slow. They said they would tell owner. Drain was still slow the rest of our stay. One staff member was sullen and unfriendly. Everyone else was nice.

Don't be fooled by the pics. I is not your family hotel. Mold in the bath. Shower head pulled from the wall. Painted tiles in the bath tub. The paint had worn off long ago. Did not go to free breakfast. I was afraid of bad food.

Location was the only positive thing...
There was mold on the ceiling and the toilet wouldn’t flush. The location was great, it was right off the interstate and there were restaurants close, which was good because nowhere delivered. But the continental breakfast was terrible, the drink dispenser didn’t work so they told us we would have to buy drinks from the vending machine if we wanted anything. This was beyond frustrating. It wasn’t an expensive room, but this was far from even good.

This hotel was disgusting. Dirty towels in our shower. Stains on the linens. Stuffing coming out of the pillows. Common areas had construction debris stacked up. Stairs had large cracks. Ice bucket had nasty mold in it. Employee yelling and cursing at another employee. They also charged my card for the room when I had told them it was already paid and reserved thru hotels.com. Didn't try the breakfast since there was a dirty rag sitting on the counter when we checked in.

Spend the extra $20 and stay elsewhere
This hotel is a dump! After checking in we heard a couple arguing because the place was so terrible, he couldn't believe she reserved such a decrepit place to stay. From the topless lady dancing in the parking lot to the fight between the manager and maintenance man, to include cursing, name calling, shouting, all right in front of us. No shame at all. The kids kept saying they'd rather sleep in the car. The building is falling apart. The stuffing is coming out of the pillows. The bath tub doesn't drain. There is urine build up on the back side of the toilet. The towels are like sand paper. Everything is covered in a layer of grime. The smell is somewhere between prison toilet and an entire pack of cigarettes smoking and a wet dog. The breakfast area had the grimiest chairs, covered in stains. Construction debris directly on the walk way. The ice bucket had a weird crust inside the lid. Be sure to get your tetanus shots before climbing the wobbly rusty stairs. I cant believe this place is listed on hotels.com. They should be ashamed of themselves for making this available to people as a choice.

We found little to like at this property and will not return. Problems included: missing sheets on 1 bed, terrible odor, WiFi not working (corrected), very uncomfortable beds, bedside lamp defective, peeling paint and mold in the shower. I would rate this room a 1 or if very generous, a 2.

Warning Read this before reseving a room.
We got our rooms canceled through hotels.com it was a terrible experience rooms smelled and gross pillows with no cases and open electric wires exposed in the bathroom. I should have listened to the reviews of others. Staff was shaded I ask the manager and desk person if they would stay in one of those rooms neither would answer so you know what that means right. Answer was no they would not. That should enough said, only exceptable place to stay in this location is The Smokehouse Lodge hotels or a few minutes down the road to Kimbal TN.

The bath tub was clogged so we had to chang to another room after we were ready for a rest. Then the toilet water pressure in the new room was low. What’s more, we could not get the Wi-fi connection all night until we were ready to leave in the morning.

The first room they gave us was filthy! Burns and stains on the carpet, the bed had black stains on them, the mattress was shredded and hard. The dresser was missing pull handles (one was glued on sideways), the pillows were disgusting, the tile had not been cleaned it was black, the floors were gross, and worst of all the toliet didnt flush!!!! We had to fill the ice bucket with water and put it in the back of the toliet to get it to flush. There wasnt even any toliet paper when we did get it to work! I had to go to the front desk to get it. Theu didnt have enough staff to bring it to me!! I have pictures of all of this!

The staff themselves were pleasant enough, though they didn't know how to use the system to properly check in customers. As a result of all of the confusion during check-in, my ID was not returned to me. When I later called to see if they happened to have the ID at the front desk, I spoke with the owner, whom was insulting and belittling. I will not stay at this location again due to how the owner treated me over her own employee's mistake.

This place needs a MAJOR update. The blankets are so thin you can see through them, the pillows aren’t even pillows anymore they are so flat, the carpet felt and looked like it was very very old. There were two used q-tips on the ground, stains on the blankets, and the tub was grey. We were coming from a camping trip and paid 80.00 for this room. I think camping outside was far better. Also, false advertising about breakfast. Old and dirty area. I know it’s Super 8 so only a certain level of expectation, but it felt like a rent by the hour place vs a place I could take my family
