It appeared to be a drug hotel. I took pictures of the room. Lamps broken. No TV. Walls cracked, not clean, bugs. Dont consider staying here.

I’d rather sleep in my car.
I came to NY to move my mom back to PA and this was the only option I had that allowed her dog to stay. That was the only reason I chose this place to stay, even reading the negative reviews. It says it’s a smoke free facility but as soon as you walk in the smell of weed and cigarettes is present. The bed comforters had lots of cigarette burns on them 🤔. The bathroom had dead bugs everywhere. There was a hole above the bed my kids slept on that has wires hanging out of it. The Heater didn’t work. My husband, my kids and myself didn’t even sleep under the covers we slept on top of them and the pillows it’s like having nothing to sleep on. They are so thin it’s like sleeping flat on a mattress. People taking loud all night and even loud music was playing late at night. If you have a few extra bucks and don’t need to have a place for a dog stay at the place right down from it. We stayed there back in March and it’s much better. I would rather of slept in my car.

This Knight's Inn was a former Howard Johnson that closed in the 1980s and has never been updated. While the staff was pleasant, the hotel seems to be Section 8 housing, as there is a sign at check-in telling all that you must check out after 28 days no exceptions. There were padlocks on many Staff Only doors. No water pressure in the shower. We could not turn off the bathroom light. The furniture and rugs were stained and smelly. All vending had Out of Order signs and were unplugged. Breakfast was fruity cereal, white bread and frozen waffles with an open tub of margarine. A picture is available on request. We stayed because there sere no other choices in the area. It is the pit of despair. It should not accept travelers as guests.

This is property that seen better days. The bath tube was dirty and chipped and had some sort of caulking that was cleaned up after use and had dried. It was also moldy and dirty. The easy chair was so dirty and dusty it should be tossed. The door would no close unless it was slammed. Breakfast was stale honey Cheerios mixed with rice krispies and some other flake cearal. The sheets were clean which was a saving grace. My bath mat was worn and had holes in it. The outside was dirty and the area between the fist and second floor had unpainted plywood strips which were weathered and the plus starting to separate. Enough for one sitting. It is being used for longer term EBT which is but it should also not be for paying guests.

Truthfully the staff was very pleasant, the tenants were even pleasant nd respectful;yet, by 7pm i had extra , extra company in my room nd beds . So bad that i literally couldn't sleep. Yes im talking about the whole village of cochroaches took over . And the property manager literally came to my room to tell me that , since i checked at noon and was still there by 3:30 am that he refused Expedia to refund my money Well i checked in at 4pm not noonand i was on phone with expedia at 2:30 am got done with Carlos there , he even told me that he couldn't get a hold of the property manager. So who in is lying nd trying to my leg.

the area was okay but the hotel needed to be up dated . there were roaches in the room and we had to go out to buy cleaning and roach spay. i spoke with the manager or owner h e said he was sorry and he said he will send a staff to take care of the problem and deducted 20$ for each room.we stayer because there were no rooms in any hotel.

This property is very old and not kept up to date. Bedroom and bathroom very dirty and old. Not the property you expect to find when dealing with Expedia. A visit to the hotel will make you understand.

What more can I say that the owners of this establishment doesn’t know. The place is old, filthy, smells poorly, and is unsafe. I don’t know how the department of health allow this place to continue operating. It is clear they take no pride in the place. It was not worth the money they charged. This place sends a clear message that says, they don’t care about their guests. This place should be condemned, no amount of repairs can redeem it. It was a poor, poor experience and I would not recommend anyone stay at this establishment even if it was free. It is unsafe on so many levels.

Desk staff was nice enough. Unfortunately, there were roaches all over, a few big ones but many tiny ones. If it weren't so late and we weren't so tired, we would have gone elsewhere. We took precautions with our belongings and I don't think we brought any roaches home with us.

Terrible place. I don’t understand how it’s even legal to be open for business. Hotel is collapsing, filthy, roaches everywhere, ceiling in hallway had a water stained sheet nailed to the ceiling. Place is disgusting. I wouldn’t let an animal stay here.

In my experience Knight's Inn is a solid choice but unfortunately not here in Liberty, NY. The desk clerk is absolutely above and beyond with his helpfulness, knowledge and willingness, and I hope this doesn't affect him, but the atmosphere and accommodations are sub-par. It seemed like a drug den with shady clientele who were in and out all night, loud noises and fighting, shower has black mold and a bug (pretty sure a cockroach) running on the nightstand in the morning. Sorry, would have loved to give a different review. After checking in around midnight we attempted to sleep and were checked out before 7am. Waste of money and ill-kept.

I am in shock that this place can be rented out to anyone, the room provided to me could have been condemned. Peeling wallpaper, water damaged floors, cigarette smell, burn holes in the sheets,an air conditioning unit that looked like someone tried to fight it. The was a plentiful roach population as well. When I asked for a refund, I was told he would "spray again" for me, and that there are no refunds. Instead of arguing I left, and I ended up staying at the days inn around the corner, that was sold out on Expedia, but I rented directly at the property. This was a nightmare of a motel, and should not be rented on this site anymore. It sucks losing $90 this way, don't let it happen to you! Sleeping in your vehicle is the better option in this situation!

My recent stay at the Knight's Inn Liberty in Liberty, NY was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was not the hotel we had anticipated. The exterior looked like something out of a horror movie, raising concerns among my friends and me. Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by a strong, overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. It permeated the entire lobby, making it difficult to breathe. The presence of mold was impossible to ignore; it seemed to be growing in every nook and cranny. This lack of cleanliness and maintenance was deeply unsettling. One of the most distressing aspects of our stay was the condition of the rooms. The beds appeared to be infested with bedbugs, leaving us scared and uncomfortable. The shower and towels were dirty, which further added to our dismay. It was clear that cleanliness and hygiene were not a priority at this establishment. To make matters worse, the hotel seemed to attract a crowd of drug-addicted individuals. Their presence was not only concerning but also made us feel unsafe during our stay. It was an unfortunate and distressing atmosphere that added to the overall negative experience. Amidst this nightmarish ordeal, the only silver lining was our visit to 17 West Brewery. The food was exceptional, and the service was truly outstanding. It provided us with a brief respite from the dreadful conditions at the Knight's Inn.

This property was the worst hotel I have ever stayed; I checked out after one night. The halls, stairways and exterior were filthy. My room was infested with roaches and other insects. I do not believe my shower had been cleaned in months. I strongly recommend Expedia to remove this hotel from its site to protect its customer base. I will not pay for my stay at this property.

The lock to my door was broken and they had to use a crowbar to open it (twice). The light switch in the bathroom was broken, with wires exposed to possible water incursion. The rug was filthy and puckered. The bed frame was made from old plywood. The desk top was broken. A conduit for electrical lines had fallen from the wall and most of the wiring in the room was put together with extensions cords. The toilet had not been cleaned. The handle on the sink fell off. This is not really a motel; it seems like a crash pad for people down on their luck. The managers were nice, but clueless about maintaining a safe and clean motel room. I left after one night, even though I paid for two nights (no refunds). It was intolerable.

No key card for my room, so I had to use a key with a big padlock when coming and going. The door wouldn’t shut behind me when exiting, so the front desk called maintenance who improvised the door latch, which caused it to be in a permanent open position. Then the only way I could lock the door while in my room is with the interior slide bolt and small chain guard. This place is in pretty poor condition - you get what you pay for. The employees were friendly, but the place was scary! Ha!

This place is a dump. Everything from the carpet to the upholstery was stained. The bathroom was falling apart. When sitting on the toilet, it was unsteady. The grout in the bathroom was missing or filthy. There was rust on every fixture. I was afraid to take a shower. The free breakfast was unpalatable coffee and old cereal. All that said, the bed was comfortable and the TV worked. Highly unrecommended.

What a dump. Stay away. Mold on the walls, dead bugs, a fly strip with dead bugs hung over the bed. The staff seemed aware of how awful the place is and tried to be as helpful as they could. The door to our room was padlocked and we had to open that padlock with a key to get in!. Very shady looking people staying there and people seemed to wander around the property. The picture you show must be 20 years ago!

A distgusting night at Knights Inn Liberty.
In credible dirty. The worst thing was that the bedsheets weren't washed. Bathroom was dirty too. The toilette flush wasn't working. I decided not to take a shower. I used an extra shirt to cover the pillow. It was distgusting, unpleasant night! I hardly slept! hotels.com should know better too. It's appaling that I paid $124 for that terrible night!

Bathroom so filthy we couldn’t shower. Sheets had dirt on them. Police came in full force which seemed like a regular occurrence. Breakfast was pitiful No ice machine. Padlocks on doors instead of key card entry. Proprietor screamed at people in lobby all morning. Unbelievable noise and yelling all night. Left before daylight. This hotel should be closed!!!
