This is almost certainly one of the best hotels on Grand Comore. There is a fair bit of refurbishment work going on but that did not interfere with my stay (note: the swimming pool is empty and I believe the health club/ spa is currently closed). The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, and the wifi worked well. The staff were friendly overall - some more so than others. On the downside, the hotel is somewhat isolated, in that there is little within walking distance. The restaurant seemed expensive, although the food was of a reasonable quality. The hotel does fall down in a few areas, such as supplying only one small bottle of drinking water a day and charging a whopping 20 Euros each way for the 15 minute airport transfer. The hotel appears to have a phenomenal range of room prices (presumably depending on availability, season, etc.), so how you judge it will depend on how much you pay. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would be glad to return there.
