Place was clean. Staff was extremely friendly!!! Tried call the front desk and the cord to the hand set had come disconnected unknowingly. By the time we figure it out the desk clerk was knocking check on us. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

We stay at a Holiday Inn Express every time we travel. This was the worst experience we have had. Took the person working the front desk a little bit to show up and greet us to check us in. We got to our room and there was a yellow stain on the comforter of one of the beds. Then we went to get in bed in the other bed and there was blood on the sheets, looked like they hadn’t even been washed. Had to go down to the front desk and get new sheets and a comforter to replace on our beds.
I'm very dissatisfied with Expedia. If I would have not gone to a 3rd party like Expedia and gone directly to the hotel, I would have saved for a 4 night stay over $100. Expedia charged me $707 and Holiday Inn Express would only $593.51 (I've got a receipt to prove my case). You just lost a customer with your hidden fees. You're not in the business to help the customer save; Expedia is in the business to rip off the customer.

Not great this time
We stay at the hotel a few times a year. This time the room had a box fan going when we arrived. It was a little smelly when we went to bed. I wish you used more synthetic pillows and blankets, we have allergies to feathers. Breakfast both days had items unavailable, second day there's no coffee. The person upfront was friendly.

Hi There!Thank you for your review. I'm so sorry about the box fan, it was where we had just cleaned the carpet. We do have hypoallergenic pillows and blankets upon request. I apologize for the lack of coffee on the second day. Our machine died on us and we had no way of making fresh hot coffee, however we do offer a Keurig with k-cups in your room for back up just incase or to enjoy a fresh cup in your room! I'm sorry if some nonhot items in breakfast were unavailable. Would you be able to tell me what was unavailable so I can ensure we have plenty? We do switch up our breakfast menu each day as far as hot items to provide some variety. Thank you again for your review and I hope you will come back in the future to let us show you this was an exception and we have improved since your last stay.
The property was nice and had good staff. The breakfast was good. The bed we stayed in was a firm bed, but our neighbors weren't very considerate and I could hear alot of them. It was a nice hotel though.
