Nice hotel, clean rooms, very convenient location. Only minor criticisms are could use some USB ports in the room instead of just old-fashioned plug sockets and seemed to be short-staffed, especially in the bar area - reception staff frequently having to step away from desk to serve drinks etc.

Relatively close to Munich's "Old Town," this is a pleasant, moderately priced and clean hotel. The staff is accommodating. The bathroom is clean but small. The rooms need usb outlets for charging devices. On the whole, we would stay there again for a night or two.

I was so surprised how much we liked this hotel. The room was spacious, the staff excellent, and the breakfast was amazing. Such a quick walk from the train station. I would stay again if I ever found myself needing a room in Munich.

Greatly located hotel within walking distance from the train station and old town. The check-in was done vey efficiently by friendly staff. The room was very spacious and clean with a nice welcome gift of gummy bears! A lot of food options within walking distance.

First time in Munich, hotel close to central station. Easy to walk to most of the classic attractions ( Rathaus). Staff very helpful and spoke perfect English even though I tried my best to speak German. Would definitely stay again, location, price and staff all amazing

A little out of the way if you are a tourist looking to see the city on foot. Close to the train station. Room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was good for the price (€10). Staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean hotel room, and very good sound proofing since our room faces the street. An easy walk to the main train station, and a few blocks away are nice supermarkets to pickup breakfast or food.While the area can seem sketchy to people who aren't familiar with Munich, it's very safe and clean. Overall recommend it for an affordable, clean, and centrally located hotel.

This is a great hotel, very close to the train station (less than 5 min walk) and about a 20 min walk to the old town. Hotel was clean, room was comfortable (great shower pressure!) and the soundproof windows did a good job of blocking out street noise. Staff were friendly and helpful! I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come back!

Excellent hotel! Very clean, comfortable, with a huge closet, full kitchen, and super terrific value for what I paid. I arrived by train from Salzburg and the hotel is five minutes’ walk from Munchen HBF and a short walk to Old Town Marienplatz with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel is also a very convenient five-minute walk to the Lufthansa Express bus stop which I took to Munich Flughafen. I was given a room in the stairwell and I had to be escorted by a hotel employee to my room because I would never have located it by myself. Staying in a room in the stairwell was terrifying for a single female traveler as me. The door from the stairwell to the main area where all other rooms and elevators are located, was kept locked and I needed my keycard to enter that area. I’m realizing as I write this review - if I forgot my keycard when exiting my room, I would have been trapped in the stairwell, unable to reenter my room and unable to access the main building with no way out. The light in my room foyer kept blinking & turning off and on. It was very unnerving, but I was staying only one night and was out all day. I felt it wasn’t worth asking to move to another room. I would definitely stay here again if I can be guaranteed a room in the main building!

Only one thing a rate lower than 5 stars,,,,that is the folding shower doors. They are clumsy and leak. Everything else is 5 Star. Very short walk to the Munich Centraal Train Station. Very close to the Radius/Viator Tour “Meet-up” office. Very nice breakfast buffet. We enjoyed Kings very much and would choose it again.

We were treated like 2nd class guests! Reserved a Standard room on Expedia.com and got a rooftop room (#704) that had half a ceiling and looked nothing like advertised on Expedia.com. The first day we asked for more bottled water and coffee for our room (Free-according to advertisement) and were told we only have 1 free bottled water and coffee (4 pods) daily included in our room price. We were directed by a wave of a hand to the vending machine in the lobby if we wanted more. The following morning we went to the bar area and asked if the breakfast was included with our room (we knew it wasn't by the advertisement but asked anyway so we could at least pay the 21 Euro (as advertised) but we were not asked if we wanted to stay and pay for breakfast, instead we were told, "I am sorry your room doesn't include breakfast. We were offered a coupon by Expedia for our troubles but, was told it's for King's Hotels (Europe only) only, which is useless to us because we live in the USA. I will try to contact King's Hotel First directly, but it's not easy (there's a 9 hr. difference in time zone).

Dear Jacob, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We gave you an upgrade to one of our larger newly renovated attic rooms. The equipment is even more luxourius than the standard room you booked. We thought this would be a nice touch for you. One large bottle of water and 4 coffee cups were complimentary for you daily either. As far as coffee is concerned, you always can help yourself with additional cups free of charge in our amenity room on the third floor as stated in our guest information.In the lobby we provide a small market, where you would have been able to buy additional drinks and small snacks at a very decent price. Breakfast was not included in your room rate. You have been informed that we will be more than happy to serve it for additionally EUR 19.50 per person per day. In this respect we cannot understand why you find this rude. With the free upgrade to a larger room, we just wanted to do you a favor. We feel very sorry that you interpreted this as as „2nd class treatment".

An outstanding hotel made special by the staff. We arrived at 11am following an early flight hoping to leave our luggage to return later in the day to officially check in. Imagine our surprise when we (2 couples) were checked in and given our room keys. The rooms (103 & 104) were spacious, spotlessly clean and had some wonderful little extras; Haribo sweets on the bed and a bottle of water in the fridge. The safe in the room was free to use and there was plenty of wardrobe space, maybe consider putting in a set of drawers. We loved the concept of not having the room made up each day to support the environment (not washing bedding and towels every day) in return for receiving a 10 euro voucher per day to be redeemed on snacks or at the inhouse bar. The bar offers snacks which includes pizzas which we tried. These were of a high standard and rather large, one could have fed two people. The location was excellent for the train station as it was 5 minutes walk away and the hotel was really easy to find. We left our luggage in lockable cabinets on our last day until 5.30pm with no extra charge which was handy having a late flight home. We would highly recommend this hotel especially with the price per night, this is definitely an absolute gem. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Took my breakfast plate without asking if were done. Apparently hotel guests have a time limit when eating breakfast. They never apologized to me for there rude behavior. Did nothing when pointing out.

The hotel was conveniently located near the main station and was a short walk to the Marientplatz and other historical landmarks. The hotel was clean and staff was very helpful. The area outside the hotel was a bit loud with party-goers at night.

Overall, I had a great experience with the King’s hotel first class, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean, very comfortable) I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Munich.
