We’ve had a pleasant stay at Novotel. The staff was courteous, the amenities were ok, and the ambiance was delightful. However, there was an incident that left a sour note in an otherwise pleasant stay. Upon my check-in night, we were greeted by an unwelcome guest, a cockroach in the room. Naturally, this was an unpleasant surprise and not something one expects in a hotel of this caliber. When I reported the incident to the administrator on duty, I was disheartened by their initial response. They seemed to try and shift the blame onto me, suggesting that the insect had entered when we opened an outside window. ( I was explicit in my explanation that it was my first room entry and no opening windows). While I understand that bugs can find their way into any space, I found this explanation lacking in accountability and not customer friendly practice. Apart from this unfortunate incident, stay was quite comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed.

Great accommodation for a good price
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay here, since the score is quite average. But the room was specious and clean and the staff was super-friendly! And breakfast was great. The hotel is closer to the LH bus service to the airport, so we will surely be back.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Petty thieves who coerced us into paying for an extra night because we requested a room with a functioning toilet/bathroom. Toilet in my initial room didn’t work, but hotel maintenance was gone for the day so I requested a new room with a functioning toilet and was told I could occupy the first room until the toilet was fixed. I didn't move into the new room because it was not clear which room we would stay in once the toilet issue was resolved. My other two guests arrived and unpacked in the new room. Went out for the night and got back to the hotel late – the other two guests went to the new room where their stuff was and went to bed, and I went to the initial room where my stuff was and went to bed there. I was woken up by the front desk calling me and requesting that I move my stuff into the other room, which I did. On the last morning, a manager demanded that I pay for BOTH of the rooms. What?! I was expecting them to offer a discount because of the hassle of dealing with a room with a broken toilet, let alone ask us to pay extra! I said no and explained that they told us we could occupy both rooms and they would not have been able to rent out a room with a broken toilet, anyway. I left the hotel but when the other two guests tried leaving the hotel, they were confronted by the front desk staff who did not let them leave until they paid this extra charge. Completely disgusted with the lack of professionalism, rudeness, and borderline criminal behavior!

This is a sister hotel to the Ibis next door, except this has "suite" rooms. Here, "suite" simply means there's enough room for a desk and a bathroom with a bath. The installations are very tired, despite its being fairly new. For example, the lamps look battered, the blinds were replaced but the old ones never fully removed, the shower was leaky, and the sink drained very slowly. The pictures show a screen that can divide the room. This was missing in my room for no apparent reason. Some surfaces were really dusty, like the light fittings, bedstead. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. I *may* have also been bitten by bedbugs here. I can't prove this was from this hotel.

I stayed at the hotel 5 years ago and had a good impression at that time. Unfortunately, the present stay changed this impression dramatically. The room was by all means not clean at all. The curtain was ripped, surfaces of tables, cupboards etc. we’re obviously not wiped. The TV and the antenna was were not disconnected, from their sockets, respectively and the dirty remote control was anywhere, but not at the place you could easily find it. The day after the I checked-in the cleaner even forgot the cleaning cloths in the room, which looked an DIY invitation to guest. Is this what you want to outsource to a business traveler? Though in times of COVID services are limited but essential hygiene and cleaning is a mandatory service to guarantee the wellbeing of guests. I missed that basic service in this hotel, I changed to ibis next door, which was a different world regarding cleanliness and services. The room at ibis next door included a hygiene wrap for the remote control et. provided for a safe and pleasant environment. Things your Hotel did not provide at all!

The room was alright but needs updating. The breakfast was on the budget side and service in general was more of a budget hotel rather than a Novotel. We constantly need to ask for cuttlery, items running out, orange juice running out, etc.

Welcome and easy check in. We were taken to our room which was a family room for four - two adults and two children (ages 15 and 13). One double bed, one single and one trundle bed which were all perfectly adequate. Clean room. Comfy beds, good shower. Great breakfast, helpful staff. We borrowed an adaptor at reception (deposit needed). Parking is €15 a day at the hotel but we found free parking one block away (couldn’t get our car in the hotel one as height restricted and we had a roof box attached.) I had the best nights sleep as it’s really quiet area. Not too far out of town. Stayed two nights to visit Dachau concentration camp and Olympic park and jumped on the Ubahn from there into city. Would recommend

Except for the rude and unfriendly front desk couple of people, the hotel is good and convenient. One of the staff deliberately turned the circuit breaker feeding the air conditioner off , and kept lying to me that the unit is working fine when it was DEAD.

Ideal Hotel for Families
The staff was great, and we loved the fact that you cater to children with a basket of gifts and complimentary coffee and goodies for those who don’t buy breakfast. Having a carriage available was an extra special treat. We would highly recommend this hotel except that the location is a bit far out. However, it made it easier to get to the airport for an early morning flight. We were a family of nine with five children, and the kids really loved it.

Very nice location and tidy community surrounded. All landmark location is close by. The thing I didn't like is parking garage entry. Unexpectedly cosy entrance. It's very very hard to get into the basement parking garage. First time went to enter and about to hit the side wall and pull back. Tried several times and unable to get through my SUV. Took an hour to find a street parking. Very disappointed.

This property was in a very good neighborhood and within walking distance of the downtown area. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. Had the best sleep on their mattress. The black out blinds were wonderful. The air conditioning was devine. I especially liked how the toilet and shower/bath areas were separate, so two people could do their business at the same time. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel outside of Munich. We had problem finding parking as our van is too high for the underground parking. Need to park on the street. Walk to subway station is a bit far, about 15 min walk, but is a convenient way to get into city center.
