Great experience. Parking was easy right across the street. Very clean and convenient to everything. Breakfast was delicious with plentiful options. The kids enjoyed the arcade room and their tatami room bed. Staff was very helpful and arrived right away to help us with the bed when we requested it. We especially enjoyed the free bikes with children’s seats - it was so easy to bike along the boardwalk right outside, and our sons are already asking to go back.

Enjoyed my one night stay at Sun Moon Lake Hotel. It’s right on the edge of the water next to the bike path. Hotel provides free bikes as well. Complimentary breakfast & they provide a 100 ntd coupon for dinner buffet. Loved the tub in the room. Will be back!

We had an excellent stay. The room was very spacious and had a direct view of the lake, with friendly and professional staff across all departments of the hotel. It’s literally ten steps away from the broad walk around the lake, and the hotel offers free bike rentals for guests to use. Highly recommend

Staff services are professional and helpful. We needed transport to go to the Shuishe centre and the staff offered to drive us there. Truly impressed with such exceptionally customer service. Breakfast spread was good. Property condition is slightly aged. Overall a pleasant experience that is quite value for money.

This hotel is located next to the lake with free bicycles to ride around the lake. The bike way is just at the back of the hotel. The view room is excellent with a patio to sit. The bathroom also has lake view! The breakfast is excellent. It is also safe to walk to the city center via the walkway along the lake even when it is dark since there are lights along the walkway and not sharing the road with cars. Highly recommended!

Breathtaking view of the scenic Sun Moon Lake right from the hotel room was highlight of our stay. We took advantage of the free bike rental at the hotel. Best time for bike ride is early morning before the trail gets crowded and the weather gets hot. Also want to note the hotel free shuttle service. Our city bus missed our stop and dropped us off in the next stop quite far away. Impossible to walk with our luggages. I called the hotel and they arranged shuttle to pick us up.

The hotel is a distance from the pier. They do provide shuttle service as and when the driver is available to send you from hotel to the pier but if you were at the pier, you need to call them. They would not send car according to the shuttle schedule. The hotel is right next to the lake but during my visit, the water level was low, so I couldn't really enjoy the lake ciew right from my balcony. The room was big. With a tataimi sitting area. Toilet came with a big bath which you can enjoy bath with your whole family. It is generally a good hotel to stay, just a little inconvenient for tourists who don't drive there.
