Six blocks from downtown shopping (7 minutes walk) this house incorporates the best of that history with modern conveniences that include WIFI, gas oven and stove, microwave, large refrigerator, dishwasher, washer & dryer. There are two smart televisions - in the large front room and second bedroom -( with YouTube TV, Netflix's & Amazon Prime). Two full bathrooms make it perfect for two couples or a family of five. A fire pit within the fenced backyard and the charm of sitting on the large front porch allows down time after a busy day of adventure shopping downtown or exploring the Civil War sites of The Carter House, Carnton or the African-American museum: McLemore House (just down the street.) Built in 1925 and renovated in 2018, the Harvey Ewing house sits in the center of Franklin’s historical Hard Bargain neighborhood and represents the success of an African-American family during the time of segregation.

You will appreciate the history of the house with all it’s modern conveniences and the quiet of this charming neighborhood so close to downtown and exclusive for you and your family to enjoy. The house is fully stocked with everything you need for a first class vacation. A digital front door lock allows you to come and go as you please. And your doggie is also welcomed!

Convenient
The house was super clean, cute and well decorated. It was very convenient to downtown Franklin. It was a bit cold while we were there, so we didn't walk into town, but we could've for sure! The neighborhood wasn't as cute as I would've hoped and I wasn't sure how safe it was to walk around particularly at night, but it was quiet.
