Comfortable Stay

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Convenient, friendly, cost-effective, centrally located. Also loved the pond with fountain and ducks right outside our window!
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: Texas Renaissance Fair (2014 is its 40th year---biggest one in the country from what we've been told; had a blast!), Texas A&M.
Stayed here while visiting the Texas Renaissance Festival. Close to the venue (20 minutes), and easy access. Small stain in carpet in our room, but not something we were worried about. Exceptionally friendly staff and streamlined check-in process. Staff were also knowledgeable about local eateries and made an excellent suggestion! Western Club and Bar (best steak we've had in a long time!). If you want to book here, check the Texas A&M event schedule as this hotel fills up fast:-)

Nice Hotel in the middle of nowhere

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Location from College Station, great staff.
Cons: Price, Water Pressure
Location: In the middle of nowhere... nothing to do in Navasota. Not far from College Station though.
We wanted to stay in College Station but all of the area hotels were booked solid. This hotel is about 20 minutes from there. We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and would return. The hotel staff was very accommodating and granted us a late check-out. The pool is very small but did the job. The water pressure in the room was very low and detracted from the comfort score. Overall, the price was a little high for the hotel but it was less expensive than others in College Station.

Hotel needs Management

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was OK.
Cons: Management, there is someone at the front desk and some people cleaning rooms. But I do not believe there is any real manager.
Location: Golf is near by and most everything is available in College Station.
The hotel looks OK. But there are major problems. We stayed two nights the A/C never worked properly and I reported it early the second morning. The room was never cleaned nor fresh towels provided. The swimming pool was full of bird feathers and only usable after a guest cleaned.

Jim, I am very sorry to see that you did not enjoy your stay. Our outdoor pool is subject to the elements at times. Unfortunately, we do not have the continuous fans on our units, which makes some guests feel that our units are not working properly. If during your stay, there is a Do Not Disturb sign on your door, our room attendants do not enter the room to service it out of respect for your wishes. Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your detailed feedback and we'll use your tips to make sure we provide better service in the future.

Rip off hotel do not stay here!!!!!!

Posted Jul 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Pulled into hotel after booking with hotels.com. They would not give me a room unless I paid an additional 93 dollars on top of the 116 I had already paid. I waited in the lobby for over an hour and the clerk would not give me the room I had already paid for. I felt like the clerk was ripping me off ad was going to pocket the money. I had to call hotels.com and had them speak to the clerk to fix the situation. I asked for the name and phone number of the hotel manager and her boss. They refused to give me that info. Worst hotel service I have ever experienced in my life. Do not stay here this hotel sucks!!!!!

Mr. Alday, I am very sorry that you felt that we were trying to rip you off. It is not our intention for you to feel that way. The attendant on duty that evening had trouble processing your reservation; she has since been trained on how to handle our third-party prepaid reservations. No additional money was taken from you. The management information is readily available on the business card located on the registration desk.

Steve, We have taken care of the hot water issue. A part on our water heater has been replaced. If there are internet service outages in the area, it does affect our ability to provide internet service to you as our guest. Thank you for providing us with your feedback!

Very comfortable bed

Posted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. First hotel I've stayed at that had both soft and firm pillows.

My wife and I were attending the Navasota High School graduation and stayed at the hotel (2) nights. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room included all the amenities and was well designed. The only problem we experienced was regarding the morning breakfast. We arrived at the buffet (2) hours before they closed and there was only a spoon full of scrambled eggs & only (2) sausages patties. When we inquired about the food, we were told by a staff member they would prepare more food if they had to??? We ate breakfast elsewhere!

College graduation weekend

Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: Spacious with inside entry.
This is a wonderful hotel with very comfortable rooms in close proximity to Texas A&M. The breakfast menu was very good with plenty of choices. We found the entrance a little challenging especially if you come off of Hwy 6. But it is actually a better choice then some hotels in College Station.
