Nice place and great location. Our friends staying in one of the bedrooms noticed the alarm clock was cracked. TWO weeks after we checked out we received a message they are charging $66 for the alarm clock which we supposedly broke. They sent us an extremely blurry "before" and an after picture. So take a picture of EVERYTHING on arrival so you don't get scammed as well.

We appreciate our guests and of course, their feedback, too. We reached out to our guest 8 days after checkout to discuss the damage. When the timeline was questioned, we conveyed that it took us time to actually locate the same clock, so we'd know what the charge would be. The pictures sent weren't blurry, and we provided multiple pictures. Pictures time stamped before the guest stay with no damage, then time stamped pictures after her stay with a clock face crack. The guest didn't stay in that room, her friends did, so it would be thoughtful of them to reimburse our guest for the damage they caused that she had to pay for as the reservation holder. It is our hope that they did.

Wedding weekend
The property was perfect for us!!! When we pulled up I was concerned about noise level as there was loud live music that could be heard from outside. Inside was quiet! I was relieved. The condo was very clean. The only negative for us was that the beds were too soft. As a personal preference I like a firm mattress. But the location and cleanliness made up for it! We could walk to the wedding venue and throughout the town. I also wish we could have checked in at 3 and out at 11am but no one returned my message when I asked. Again, not deal breakers, but would’ve been nice.

We love the cleanliness and location of this property. Park your car and walk to Gruene Hall. The only downside is a 10:00 a.m. checkout after listening to live music until after midnight.

The location was perfect! It was walking distance from restaurants and shopping. My friends and I loved the apartment. We had so much fun. The only issue we had was parking. The apartment only comes with two parking spots. We were five girls driving in from five different cities.

Very nice and clean. Beautifully decorated.
We have stayed in several different units of these condos and this one was by far the nicest and cleanest. We could have used a few more towels and pillow cases for the extra pillows.

Great Location
Stayed at this cute condo for a short weekend getaway with friends. Very comfortable furniture and bedding. Location is perfect and right next to all the fun places in Gruene. Just far enough from the main road so it wasn’t too noisy at night. Only downside was no WiFi (at least we couldn’t find an information book that usually has that listed.) We would stay here again!

Quick Birthday Getaway
My wife and I had been so busy with weddings this year, including our own, we failed to book anything for her teenage son for his birthday. He wanted to stay on the Guadalupe River and near the Gruene area. I found this listing, read the reviews and it could not have been more spot on! The two story condo overlooks the pool, is just down a concrete pathway to a picnic area and a drop-in to the Guadalupe River. In fact, right where the drop-in is, was a nice area in which you could either stay floating in a secluded area without floating the entire river, which had plenty of rocks to sit on and hang out, or you could join the masses and continue further down stream if you wanted. The condo was also within walking distance of all the boutiques, restaurants, and the historic Gruene Hall! With our teenage son and family friends, all were pleasantly surprised at the location, the amenities and the price. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will definitely look for this property again for future trips!

Wonderful mid-week getaway!
We had a lovely stay in Gruene at the Gruene Getaway! What a gorgeous condo- the decor is so cute and inviting! We had a blast exploring the river right in the backyard of the property, swimming in the pool, and exploring cute Gruene! My kids, 6 and 10, loved the twin beds and having the downstairs to themselves while my husband and I loved the oversized master suite upstairs. Perfect for a family getaway to Gruene! Thank you so much for hosting us, we loved it and hope to be back soon!

Gruene Girls’ Getaway
This was perfect for our group of 4 friends going to see a concert @ Gruene Hall. The condo is walking distance to EVERYTHING in Gruene & easily accommodated our friends that needed to do some work before play. Highly recommend!

Clean and great location!
The condo was super clean and had a great location to downtown Gruene. We had a great stay and would definitely come back! Future renters just be aware that the dumpsters next to the property were emptied multiple times a day including twice before 9am. It woke us up each morning but this minor inconvenience is worth it.

New Years Eve Trip
Great location and beautiful home. Everything was beautiful and close to everything. Our only issue was the TV and getting it to work. It was after hours so I texted the management office but never heard back from them. Fortunately, we were able to finally figure it out but it took 4 college degrees to do so. :-) Beds were not as comfy as we would like but not bad. I bit too firm. Overall, we had a great time and everything was perfect. We will defintely book this property again!!

Unfortunately, we have no record of receiving a message from guest, but we are thankful it was resolved for the remainder of the stay. We do our best to accommodate a diverse demographic when it comes to mattress choices, so what may feel firm for one group of guests may feel soft to others. Perfect stay
My husband and I, along with 2 friends stayed the weekend in Gruene. This was the perfect location. Easy walking right in Gruene. Park your car and not get in again until you leave. Condo was as beautiful as advertised. Clean, neat, wonderful. We will rent again.

Perfect Gruene Getaway!
This house was perfect for our weekend getaway. We had a group of 3 ~30 year old couples and this house was perfect for us. The best location - you can walk to everything!! Even walked to the pickup for the “wurst wagen” which was so convenient to get us to and from wurstfest. Such a cute house with plenty of space. Would love to come back!

Girl's Trip
We had an amazing time! We spent 3 nights with friends to celebrate my daughter's graduation. We floated the river, took in a concert at Gruene Hall, enjoyed the Gruene Market Days, and ate fabulous food! The place was perfect for us! The location was ideal for what we wanted. We gave the girls the upstairs, while the moms stayed downstairs. The kitchen was well equipped. The furniture was so comfortable and cozy after a long day. We hope to make this a long standing tradition for our group! Thank you for being so accommodating! Loved it!

Best VRBO I have ever booked
This property is exactly what was shown and a bit more. Location was literally a few yards from everything. Reserved parking was steps from the front door. The condo was decorated with just enough warmth but not overly done. Furnishings were sold and quality. The home was stocked with all the cleaning supplies you would need for yourself and crew during your stay. The pool was perfect and partially shaded at all times. I would highly recommend this rental.

Fun Weekend in Gruene
This is a great property, and we will definitely choose it again. We were very impressed with the decor and cleanliness. It’s a half a block walking distance to Gruene Hall and several local restaurants and courtyard venues for live music. My only wish would be for softer sheets on the bed. Also, due to the small sizes of bedrooms 2 and 3, I wouldn’t recommend more than 2 couples.

Great property with pool off back patio
The 3 bedroom condo is a very close location to walking distance from all of Gruene. We enjoyed the live music every night and walked to lunch and dinner and shopping. What a great way to stay in a small town without having to drive to the sites and locations.... just walk to them.
