Not bad in a pinchPosted Aug 26, 2014
It was one of the cheaper hotels in the area and we got a deluxe room. It's worth it over the regular rooms. The only issue is on the first floor you hear all the annoying people staying in the halls. Other than that, the staff and room were good.

DisappointedPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The staff was pleasant
Location: Did not leave room.
Found mold on shower curtain, and a long black hair on the bed.

Two Good Things: Close to Airport & Free ShuttlePosted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: Close to LaGuardia and free shuttle. Period.
Cons: All Personnel.
Location: No places to eat. Nothing to do nearby. But it's near LaGuardia (10-minute trip).
I needed an inexpensive hotel near LaGuardia due to an early morning flight. Cheapest I found was still expensive, and the quality and overall experience would have better matched a rate half what I paid. At arrival, there was no ramp and only 8 steep vertical stairs to lug up two very heavy suitcases and various other luggage (and no offer of help from staff, either). My room was on the third floor and was standard and acceptable -- plenty of room and a king bed that was decent for comfort. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor. Maids on break were screaming dating stories to each other down the hall for so long (30 minutes) I had to walk down there to ask them to be quiet. Their rude reply was that "We're on BREAK!" No apology from the management. There is no place to eat within walking distance except a Dunkin' Donut and a bar down the street with some food like buffalo wings. Upon check out, I wanted to pay for a movie the night before, but the manager said he couldn't do that because he was busy online "auditing." He said "It's about $16.00 or so ..." I wanted an exact amount to pay with credit, and he just shrugged and continued working. I left, stating "Bill me." No reply -- as he diligently worked on that computer. I will make note NEVER to return there nor recommend it to anyone.

Not a good option if you plan to visit New York.Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: There is a Dunkin Donuts next door where you can get a decent breakfast.
Location: Nothing is good about the location other than it was near La Guardia.
We arrived and the hotel manger, who was always at the desk, received us. Not the welcoming that I normally get from the chain hotels. Basically, here is your key, go away. I think he was not happy about our Expedia booking. First we noticed was the air conditioning unit was extremely small. The room could hardly stay cool..... but then it got worse. The room and bathroom were clean but there was a musty smell. It turns out, the bathroom is not ventilated so when we took a shower the humidity had no place to go. The rooms becomes humid, hot and smelly. The hotel is close to La Guardia airport but too far away from new York for visiting the city. We spent too much time riding the subway to get in and out of the city. But that is our fault for selecting to stay there. TV access was OK. but you can not order movies without leaving a $20.00 cash deposit first... for each time you want to view a movie.

Pros: location to airport and free shuttle
We were only there from late afternoon to 5:30 am. The staff was vas very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We received a wake up call on time, the shuttle was there for us and got us to the airport on time. Overall, very pleased.

Overpriced...with no breakfast.Posted Jun 15, 2014
LaGuardia cancelled a lot of flights and at 9PM, mine was rescheduled for the next evening so there were no other options. I booked through Expedia but did not find out until I got there that the room was a smoking room. Other hotels in the area were a lot cheaper but like I said, I had no choice. It was this place or the floor in the airport. Only stay if you have to otherwise find shelter somewhere else.

Does not serve continental breakfastPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: The rooms were ok
Cons: They could at least have a coffee bar.
Location: The location was ok. But there is nothing near except dunkin donuts.
With the room rates they are charging, coffee and donuts could be served. We have stayed at hotels with cheaper rates and they served a full breakfast.

Right near the airport- exactly what I neededPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was well prepared.
Cons: Maybe more complimentary things, such as toothpaste.
Easy and relaxing. Wi-fi kept cutting out. Creepy guests were very weird to me, freaked me out.

Good for a bed and a pillow for the night.Posted May 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
One night was plenty. I was given a room that reeked of cigarette smoke, I requested a change, and I was given a smaller room at the same rate. The carpeted floor of the second room was a minefield of chewing gum. Pretty disgusting.
