NYCPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: It was quaint little hotel, tucked away in the corner, not directly onthe street.
Location: Very easy to get to the bus. Getting to the US Open was quick easy and inexpensive.
It was a lot of fun, and it was in walking distance to a lot of places. Especially Dunkin Donuts across the street.

Nice hotel within easy reach of La GuardiaPosted Sep 10, 2013
The room was pleasantly comfortable. A lovely super king bed, decent shower and useful additionals including fridge, microwave, hair dryer and iron. Free shuttle taxi to the airport at any time too. Perfect for one night

It's was good overallPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Eveything was good but Internet connection was not good, it did not work at all, and they should give breakfast too. We had two children with us, come on ppl just for children they should offer something for them. Room condition was very good, bathroom nice and clean.

Terrible place to stayPosted Jul 29, 2013
Cons: All the equipment is old, staff smoke on the stairs. Big investment is needed to make improvements.
Location: There are no good restaurants to get food.
They increase room price by 30% and we had no hot water, no internet, no snack-bar, poor AC. So for $567 no comfort!!!

Small but Nice and Great PricePosted Jun 26, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, clean, nice decor
Cons: Breaker (electricity) went out on one side when we tried to use coffee pot and microwave at the same time. Back on w/in minutes of my call to desk.
We booked this one night stay to be close to LaGuardia for our early morning flight. We didn't expect much at all and were very pleasantly surprised at the simple beauty and elegance of the hotel. The hallways and rooms are small, but we were able to fit three adults, two children and an infant into one room (double bed plus pull out couch) for about half of what was being charged elsewhere. My husband works at a hospital and I had him check thoroughly for bugs (there were none). The place was not only clean, but the hotel seems to me to be an old building remodeled simply yet elegantly and the narrow hallways and small room actually was quite nostalgic for my mom and I. I was further pleasantly surprised when the desk attendant, upon seeing our two month old, offered to bring us a crib up (which I also had my hubby check - it was very clean, mattress looked new or lightly used and no bugs!). The hotel staff was courteous and very helpful to me with the infant and my mom who uses a walker. There was a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot with coffee packs. The only two downsides - which we didn't mind - is it is very petite. Perfect for our needs of just staying overnight, but no room for the kids to play had we wished to stay longer. No tv, if I remember right. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay the night on route to La Guardia or just a place to put your stuff and sleep, I think this place is perfect.
