In the Heart of Times Square

Posted Aug 26, 2014
From the friendly staff at the front doors welcoming us, the pleasant concierge and the kind woman checking us in (ending with a warm chocolate chip cookie!) We enjoyed our stay from beginning to end.

Heart of Times Square

Great location if you want to be in the heart of TS. Great hotel, clean room, mostly friendly staff. Only minor thing was the air in the room felt more swap cooler than actual A/C and it wasn't even humid outside.

location location location

Pros: location, price clean rooms
Cons: bathrooms could do with a little renovations and the air-conditioning very loud when trying to sleep. Windows need cleaning.
Location: carlos bakery in New Jersey, Central Park, 5th Avenue shopping, not far to the World trade center memorial. Subways close by and Broadway musicals
Great hotel if you dont have much time in manhattan. We had a few problems with our room but Manny the manager was quick to try and fix our issues. Carl the maintainace man was very polite and helpful to our problems. Cookies on arrival a nice touch but not good if you can't eat nuts. overall great place to lay your head if passing through.

Great Room Layout

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Offers sleeper sofa in separate living room with its own TV and, more importantly, its own sink and mirror. Less waiting on others for bathroom time!
Cons: No place to buy a snack inside the hotel.
4 days - 1 Mom and 2 college kids. Picked it because of the room layout, but its always clean and comfortable. Great housekeeping.

Prime Times Square Location

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Location, nice rooms and secure rooms, although security guards were not on duty late at night when you really need them!
Cons: Security at the main entrance can be improved. More staff late night and early morning. Need to recruit more knowledgeable staff people in NY City
Location: Nicely located to most attractions in NY.
Nicely located close to everything. Close to transit, buses and a ride away from prime interesting places.

Perfect location, great staff, clean hotel

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Location and that once through the lower lobby you were separated from the hustle of time square itself
Location: Superb, right in the heart of New York, near the theatre district
We had a great time in New York , plenty to do and see

Nice hotel right in the middle of Times Square

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Great place to stay if you're in the city for the sights and going to the theatre but although there is a bar in the foyer it closes most nights at 11.30 so it's not great for chilling out at end of day. Staff are excellent. It was our 3rd time staying and would go back again.

Great Times Square Location

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Great location. Professional staff. Excellent service and food in the Ginger Restaurant
Cons: The tub area in our suite needed an application of Tilex on the bath tiles to treat the mold, and the tub drain was very slow.
Location: Thirty minute walk from Penn Station if arriving by Amtrak, or about an $8 cab fare. Rockefeller Center, Central Park, and Metro stations nearby.
Our hotel room overlooked the Ruby Steps and TKTS booth at Times Square. We were also just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center (for all of you TODAY fans) and had easy access to the Metro Stations, both Uptown and Downtown. My husband and I brought our teen age grandson for his first visit to New York. We had a suite with a king size bedroom for us and a separate area with a sleep sofa for him. The sleep sofa must have been comfortable because he slept like a log. Both areas had flat screen TVs. This was the perfect setup as we all had our private space. We had dinner in the Ginger Restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. All of the hotel staff with which we interacted were helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for a future stay.
