Good location to Central Park, shopping, theaters, dining. Conveniently located near subways. Staff aided in arranging alternative shuttling to airport. Really appreciated staffs friendliness.

Unhappy

Posted Oct 20, 2014
The bathroom is built into the middle of the room with a smoked glass partition leaving no privacy. The television did not have any local channels that came in clearly and when we asked the front desk to help us the service man came in and said oh there is nothing we can do we don't get the local channels clearly. Very disappointed for the money we spent per night.

Great location - walked everywhere to everything !

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Loved the queen-size bed - THE most comfortable bed I have ever experienced and the fresh white sheets felt so good! I also liked the bar' wine!
Cons: Please provide washcloths in the bathroom and bigger bars of soap.
Location: Perfect location - easy walk to Central Park, Rockerfeller Center, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Quite a few great restaurants on the same street
Had a great first trip to NYC. Saw the Met Opera live the first night in town, went to "Phantom of the Opera", went to Avery Fisher Hall to hear an open rehearsal of the NY Philharmonic with guest conductor Esa Pekka Solonen......and loved it so much that I bought a ticket and went back to hear the same concert the next evening! I spent quite a lot of time at Lincoln Center and took a backstage tour of the MET - and also was invited to meet the radio producer of the MET, Mary Jo Heath which was most enjoyable. Also took in the Empire State Building and loved walking back to my hotel along 5th Avenue.

Great people and accessible to all of New York.

Front desk helped us find the hotel. First time in NY. Offered places and helped us give items to a local homeless shelter. Clean comfortable and in a good location. Minutes from Times Sq and Broadway walking. Safe location.

Stayed 3/10/14 to 8/10/14

Posted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room size
Room was clean and serviced well . Just very disappointing on the size. We had a queen bed & there was virtually room for nothing else. Good location but would not recommend due to room size. Ps no complementary WiFi in the room.

Not the best first impresion, but...

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: The balcony
Cons: The elevators
Location: Everything was close. I am very glad that I choose this hotel instead of any better propoerty on times Square.
The hotel at the first galnce has disapointed me. From outside it doesn't look very prommising. The reception area is small, dark, and the silling is very low. Besides it is old. Than the elevators (only 1 was working), which was small, slow and old. We had the penthouse on the 11th flor. The room was a bit dated but in general was nice. The best thing, which made me give good notes to the hotel, was the balcony, with a view to the Manhattan skyline. It was grate! This is why, I would defenetely choose this hotel again - but only the penthouse. Another huge advantage of this hotel is the location. It is basicly on the 5th Ave, very close to Central Park.

Pros: Location, freindliness of staff
Cons: nothing could be changed in my view
Location: Location was suberb, on 5th avenue, just three blocks from central park, a few more to the Rockerfella Centre which is an excellent place to start,
great reception on arrival staff could not do enough everything explained, room excellent shower again excellent, free wifi in lobby, complmentary hot drinks from 6am-11am everyday, rooms made up, beds made, clean towels and complimentary shower gel etc, hotel is on great location, mid block, in between 5th and 6th , could not ask for better, hotel, room, was more than i expected, and made to feel very welcome during my short stay, by all staff.
