Business Trip to NY

Posted May 4, 2015
This was my first stay at the World Center, but likely won't be my last. The hotel is new construction, with clean, modern, tasteful, and comfortable rooms. I was very pleased with my stay.

Wonderful boutique hotel!

Posted Apr 27, 2015
This lovely hotel is quiet and exceptionally well managed, and it commands a uniquely sited proximity to both Wall Street/Battery Park City and the World Trade Center Memorial. From check-in to room service, to dinner at Morton's Steakhouse (located on ground floor), to check-out the service was impeccable. I am a picky traveller and a former New Yorker so I believe I am entitled to claim this hotel as a hidden gem!

Nice hotel in convenient location

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: The location and amenities were excellent.
Cons: The k-cup coffee was terrible, instead I would use local brewing companies from NY instead. Also only two elevators made the wait time a little long.
Stayed here for 1 night. Very clean quite hotel, great location and excellent city views.

Decent hotel very near WTC

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Close to 9/11 Memirial, but awkward to get to because of construction. It feels like an old 4 star hotel faded to a three star with a cosmetic upgrade trying to be better. Materials were more than adequate but it didn't have a rich feel and the bathroom was only acceptable. The staff did try hard to make out stay special, and the restaurant on the top floor was quite nice, with a great view.

Pros: Wonderful location, easy access and close to all the major subway trains.
Cons: Breakfast could be better. A bit confusing wth sharing the elevator and Club Quarters next door.
Location: Within minutes walk to World Trade Memorial; Brookfield Place and Hudson Eats that has amazing river views and the best food court ever!
Check in was easy, the room was clean and comfortable. The reception area is a bit small but still comfortable. Tell the taxi driver the hotel is next to Club Quarters/Ruth Chris Steak House and across from the W because World Center Hotel doesn't show up on Google map. It's on a private cul-de-sac so there's no traffic and quiet. Being across from the W made getting taxi convenient. All in all, it was a very good experience.

Great location overlooking Ground Zero, NYC

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Really liked the water available in hallway for fresh cold fill-up.
Location: When construction is done, it looks like this hotel at the end of Washington Street will continue to have a clear view of the 9/11 Memorial.
We enjoyed our stay at this moderately priced hotel - very clean and modern with a great location. Although there is construction all around in this area, there was no noise issue. The small double usually for one person was perfect for a couple looking just to sleep and saved us some money. Amazing to look out and see the WTC "footprint" reflecting pools from my window.

Pros: proximity to metro and ease of access
Location: very close to wall street, right by 9/11 memorial and museum.
Good hotel, we got a smaller room but that's new York i guess. clean facilities. Was right next to 9/11 memorial and museum. and also very close to wall street and battery park. Uptown Manhattan was accessible by MTA

Nice "compact" hotel next to WTC

Posted Apr 19, 2015
nice rooms although very compact in size. There is no wasted space and for what you get you would be surprised that the rooms were that compact. Staff were beyond professional, extremely nice and accommodating the restaurant had beautiful views over WTC memorial. The only down side I had was the mattress we had had some kind of bar in middle of it.. Wasn't too bad but slightly noticeable. Over all I would highly recommend it and would definitely go there again.
