Dear Shelly,Thank you for visiting us and for taking the time to write your impressions of your stay.I would like to add some additional information to the information you gave.As far as dinner is concerned, we open our restaurant for a minimum of 5 reservations as we cannot have a team working a whole evening for 2 or 3 people.... I am sure you will understand.From June 1 to September 30 and when there are not enough reservations, you have several options for dinner:1. There is a small Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk away: LA CASA DI GIADA (near the church) contact details on site if needed.2. There is a pizzeria with a take away or delivery service (PIZZA CORNICHE / 500m from the hotel)3. You can also order on UBER EAT by downloading the application on your smartphone and have it delivered directly to the hotel. You can then dine on our terraces....Regarding our location: we can offer a panoramic view so appreciated by our customers, because we are not in the city center but a little bit high... otherwise it would not be possible... :). There is a public transport service that serves our hotel: the minibus 84 will drop you off 2 minutes walk from the tramway station or will help you to go up the bd Bischoffsheim in 2 minutes (15mn walk). Indeed, when you make your reservation, the website does not give us your contact information so it is impossible for us to contact you so that you have the information that each of our customers receives before their check-in. Anyway, on the website it is well mentioned the opening hours of the reception on Sunday...it is also mentioned that we are not in the city center but at 2.5km from the harbor....you must have missed all this information when you made your reservation and I'm sorry for that. Thank you for visiting us. As mentioned in our web page, we offer a private parking for 15€ per night (on reservation) and you can also park your car on the main street for free. Regarding elevators, it's also mentioned that in our hotel that there is no elevator (our hotel is a villa...so yes, no elevator...). Regarding the "no help", I don't remember in 12 years of work, to have refused helping one of my guest who asked for...of course if you arrived on Sunday afternoon, as mentioned also in our web page, the reception closes at 1:30pm in order to allow us to rest a little bit as we are working all week long with no day off... my husband and I are running alone this family hotel... So please, next time try to read carefully all the conditions of the hotel which are mentioned and also I recommend you to book a modern hotel of 100 rooms with all the comfort you are looking for..not a typical villa from the south of France... It's true that in Summer it's not easy to walk the main road with big luggage...but there is the shuttle 84 if you don't want to take a taxi. Fortunately I have the opportunity to respond to comments and inform readers who will read yours how much you have been very upset and rude to me (and not the other way around) just because the internet was not working .... And apparently, when I read your comment, you always seem so angry ... it's a shame. When I greeted you at 10 pm (I am not a receptionist by the owner of the hotel), you were so happy with the room, the view, the private terrace that you had, my welcome ... and everything disappeared as if by magic when you realized that you could not use the Internet ... I'm really sorry you had a bad experience because of our operator SFR who did work on our line in our neighborhood for 2 days ... However, it is an opportunity for me to inform our future customers that we have a great wifi service at the present time. I will not answer all the negative aspects you mentioned because they are only justified by your anger and do not reflect the reality that could interest future customers ... In fact, you had a room for 3 adults completely renovated in January (door and window included ...) with private terrace overlooking the city and the sea, a continental breakfast that all our customers appreciate thanks to good value for money, free parking .... I also offered to call a taxi to go to town (8mn by car) and stayed with you late while the reception closes at 20:30 ... but all this you forgot to mention it. I am really disappointed that some disrespectful customers may be so unhappy for causes beyond our control ... Regards, Valérie, owner.

Thank you for taking the time to write your impressions of our hotel. We are sorry because you seem disappointed with your stay ... Regarding noise, our hotel is generally very quiet (unless your neighbor was very noisy that night, which must have been the case ... sorry for it). Know that we offer very quiet rooms (triple terrace for example ...) Regarding the shower curtain I am picky about cleaning ... I will check more carefully the curtains, thanks for the information. Nevertheless there are now only few rooms with curtains (almost all our rooms have a cabin shower) For parking, people who come here know that they can take advantage of free parking spaces when they pay about 30 € to park their car in a hotel in the city center ... Normally we gave you all the information to park your car nearby when you have arrived. You should have no problem finding a place, except of course if you arrived after the opening hours of the reception and you could not register correctly ... I understand your dissatisfaction but we are going to clarify the situation : You booked a single room and you arrived at 2 people, your explanation: we thought it was a room for 2 on the picture. I remind you that You have to rely on the category of room you book, namely a single is for 1 person, a double for 2 people, a triple for 3 people ... etc ... We finally managed To find a double room for you with of course a supplement .... of 15 €! The 2nd family who was there wanted 1 quadruple room instead of the 2 reserved rooms ... we responded to their request and as you mentionned they were not bored but on the contrary pleased to be together. Also thanks to them, you could have your double room otherwise you would have to look for another hotel as we were fully booked. The reception opening hours are mentioned on all booking sites: 7.30 am to 2.00 pm and 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm with possibility of check-in during the closing hours with an access code. You arrived at 2.30pm (not 1pm), I remember because you forced us to come back during the closing hours. Finally about the arrogance of the owner, understand that we are also human beings and it is difficult to keep calm in front of a client who absolutely wants to be accommodated 2 people in a single room because the photo of the room seems able to accommodate 2 persons... With 2 bell sounds it is easier to get an idea ... Valérie & Gino
