I stayed at the Karibu with my mother and we loved the service. Andras and Beja made us feel like home. A very well maintained property. Fairly close to restaurants and tourist spots. Only con is that most tours will not pick up there but will pick you up 2 minutes away from there. Andras and Beja will also guide you and make themselves available to drop you off or pick you up at your request and depending on their schedule. They are very nice and helpful! I loved it there.

We had a lovely stay, the hosts were very helpful and we felt at home immediately. It was lovely to be somewhere quiet compared to the very busy hotels at the front. Easy to get around walking, buses and taxis.

Much better than any of the hotels.
We were very pleased with our room which even had a small kitchen, fridge and micro so we could make our own breakfasts. The hosts were both helpful and friendly. There’s a small pool and sunning patio with a pleasant view of wetlands. 15 minute walk to the beach.

The dimensions of the pool are 10.5 meter by 5.5 meter and normally you can walk within 6 minutes to the beach unless there is a heavy rainfall with was unfortunately happend when you where here. Aruba
Karibu is an excellent place to stay. It is reasonably priced, very clean, free of the hotel area crowds. Everything you need is close by. Renting a car makes it easier to get around but taxis are easily accessible.

The place was so peaceful, quiet, and all around LOVELY! Our hosts were fabulous and welcoming. We spent one of our days doing a quick butterfly farm visit (5min away) in the morning, then wound up staying at the pool lounging the rest of the day since it was so wonderful! Nearby, we loved Tres Trapi for a 5min drive away snorkle with sea turtles, then a bit further up for a quieter beach, Arashi, (but get there early for an umbrella). Isabel and Andras offered us beach chairs amd snorkle gear, which made a world of difference! I recommend renting a car of you're there longer than a couple days, very affordable options at airport! Highlights: Snorkle at Tres Trapi Arashi beach Dinner at Tierra Del Sol for sunset Jeep tour that picks you up

Karibu was a perfect place for our 2 week stay in Aruba. Andras, Beha, and Isabella were the perfect hosts. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants, the location couldn’t have been more convenient. Our room was made up every day so we came back from our adventures to a clean room! And always some surprise towel art with fresh flowers. A lovely touch! Because there are so few units (3, I believe), we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Hidden Gem
Wonderful family owned boutique hotel very close to Palm Beach. The owners are delightful. The little hotel is gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting by the pool at night with a glass of wine talking to the other guests. Spectacular hidden gem.

We loved that it was small, quiet, and far enough away from the big hotels to not be crowded, but close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. The owners, Andrus and Beja, are incredibly sweet and very helpful. There’s no question we’ll stay there again when we return.

Karibu Aruba had the nicest and helpful staff and owners. They directed us to restaurants and adventures. The location was peaceful and a short walk to everything. Everything was clean and we had a full kitchen and bbq by the pool if we wanted to stay in.

Charming boutique facility run by a warm and welcoming Dutch couple. Facility has four units, all spanking clean and charming. Pool. Units have kitchenettes, with a larger central kitchen also for guest use. We’d like to go back. Only minor problem: a somewhat temperamental hot water supply. A grocery store is a reasonable walk away, as is the beach, with its restaurants and attractions. A bus stop on the beach road is very nearby. Mini bus: $4.00; large bus: $5.25, both flat rate. Eagle beach and Oranjestad downtown are easily accessible by this method. Large bus offers a stored value card, but the minibus requires cash.

The apartment was very comfortable and spotless. The owners and staff take excellent care of the property and are on site if needed. They supplied us with beach chairs, a back pack cooler and suggested a beach away from the tourist area. Staying at Karibu is vey relaxing. I highly recommend it. A car is not necessary but is very convenient to have. We have already booked another trip.

Karibu Aruba is a small, beautiful, accommodating and very relaxing hotel located close to the high rise hotel row on the beach. The location is close enough to walk to the beach and feels safe and peaceful. There is a good grocery store a five minute walk. Upon arrival, we felt that you welcomed us into your home. We enjoyed the welcoming refreshments, exceptionally clean rooms and sitting areas, the great view and beautiful clean pool. The cats, lizards and turtles gave us a real feel of the Caribbean. We appreciated all your hardwork and thank you for making our stay comfortable and relaxing. We could not expect more from the stay. You are very professional, courteous and just fantastic people. We loved the property and our hosts, Andras and Beja! Super helpful and friendly. Our room was nicely appointed and the location of the hotel is quiet and perfect, but close enough to the resort action and the beaches. There is a good grocery store a five minute walk away as well as a local Lebanese restaurant-delicious!! We will definitely be back!

Aruba's best kept secret
I can't say enough about Karibu. The owners and staff were very pleasant and helpful. We felt like we were staying with friends. The room was spotless. The pool and grounds are well kept. The hotel has is everything you could want for a vacation. Karibu is a short walk to the beach and the shopping area. Although everything is close by, I would suggest renting a car. This is a BEST kept secret.

The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful. Close proximity to the beach but still a nice, quiet place to relax. Highly recommend this hotel.
