Nice HotelPosted Oct 1, 2013
Cons: needs a little updating.
Location: were in Alexandria, but didn't know about any sites to see there.
The staff were more than helpful with directions to DC and all. Breakfast room was very small and hot! Breakfast was a little less than it could have been. Over all, our stay was nice, but DC is a rat race. We had a recommended bus tour that was great, with DC tours, but got left off at the wrong hotel downtown and we had to search for our car in the parking ramp, which was the wrong one, for an hour and a half. Very disappointing.

Decent hotel for the price.Posted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: Location was great, we felt safe with our young girls. We also liked that we were able to back right up to our door and unload our luggage.
We needed to stay for two nights to visit family with our two small children. Our room was clean, yes they need to do some updating but it is nice. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, and the staff present during breakfast were very friendly and accommodating. When food ran out, they replaced it immediately. They were helpful and would converse with you which I find pleasing. I would stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to friends. We needed somewhere to sleep, shower, and eat breakfast and this hotel did all the above. We went on vacation to visit family, not to hang out in a fancy hotel room. If you're looking for somewhere decent that's not too pricey I would stay here. It was also nice having a refrigerator and a microwave in our room, it came in handy with the kids. Our room was clean, I was nervous after reading all the negative reviews but I found no issues staying here.

A GREAT VACATIONPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and good air conditioner. There was a bedroom, dressing room, and bathroom and a micro, ridge in room
Cons: I couldn't find anything to improve on. It was all very nice.
Location: Seemed to be a nive neighbor hood. The was a Denny's and Taco Bell ,Three services stations ,a Seven Elveen all within a block of hotel
I am not just giving it all Excellent ratings for nothing. We just returned from a week long stay. From the time we walked in they all acted as if we were all old friends and glad to see us. The personal working there were great all very nice, friendly, and very helpful with any questions we had about traveling or anything else. The brakfast was great with coffee, juices, waffles, eggs, bacon, muffin, ceral and plenty of it the lady working the kitchen kept everything full and flesh and was very helpful. We were there without a car and rode the metro buses and trains to get around which once you learned the direction was no problem. This beat renting a car and having to drive. There were four of us with youngest being 53 and the oldest 71. We traveled all over the place seeing the Smithsonians, Arlington Cemertary (you need to see the changing of the gaurds) The U.S.Capital, The Archives, Washingtons estate all by metro. The bus stop was about a hundred yards from hotel seemed to be a good neighbor hood we had no problems great vacation

Cheap old hotel if you need one night stayPosted Sep 11, 2013
Inexpensive hotel outside Washington. Old is the best description. Not recommended for more than one night stay. Breakfast was OK but little.

Nice hotel.Posted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi, clean, and friendly staff.
Cons: I would suggest not renting rooms previously occupied by smokers to non-smokers.
Location: Was there to visit family so we didn't really pay much attention to things to do near by.
We stayed here while in town to visit family. The room was nice but it was quite evident that it had been sprayed down to cover cigarette smoke from a previous guest. The staff was friendly and the property was clean. The outdoor pool was nice and clean and had a lifeguard (which is unusual for hotels these days).

"Quality Inns" equals NO qualityPosted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: As I said above, the bedding and towels.
Cons: Do something about that horrible bed arrangement.
Location: George Washington's Mt. Vernon is just 3 miles away. That is why we stayed there thinking it would be a good area. Wrong!!
We thought it would be a good area since it is so close to Mount Vernon. Wrong!! Very creepy neighborhood with very suspicious looking characters hanging out on the stair wells. Going to dinner was very uncomfortable with constant wondering if our room was being broken into. Our room was terrible too. Very frayed and worn carpet. We had two queen-sized beds, but one of them only had 1-foot of clearance between the foot of the bed and the wall - - and you had to work your way through that narrow passage to get to the bathroom. The bedding was clean and nice quality towels is the only good thing to report. The breakfast room was very small and again creepy looking characters were hanging around. The food quality was very low too. We only ate there one morning of our two-day stay and wouldn't go back. We are taking "Quality Inns" off of our list of places to stay for we certainly can't count on them being of the least amount of quality.

Good stayPosted Aug 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed my stay, and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was good, with good choices. The rooms were clean but it did show some wear of age, but all in all it was a nice place to stay.
