The location is a bit out of the way but we hired a driver for a reasonable cost. He ended up saving us money as he was able to negotiate "local prices" on everything from t-shirts to beer."

"This resort is close to the airport and all the amazing sites of Bagan. It is super easy to rent an e-bike and explore the area. New Bagan is about 20 minutes on the bike, which is about as far as you would probably explore anyways. All the great places to eat are very near the resort as well. You can also just rest at the resort. Their breakfast is great and there is a pool and spa are great."

"The hotel is conveniently close to the train and bus stations, as well as the airport. However, the area is relatively quite and quite close to a number of temples. Free biycles are a great way to get around but the e-bikes are a bit pricy. Staff are friendly and quite helpful. As you can read from other comments, the hotel is far from old Bagan, but much cheaper than its counterparts. You can see on the map that there are easy ways to access the main attractions."

"Great new hotel however on the outskirts of town however they rent mopeds to get in to town. There is a lovely swimming pool on site. Felt like ghost town as we appeared to be the only guests, but hey service was great."
