The hotel is due for remodeling, tv is old technology, beds are not comfortable, the pool was being heated with a garden hose, the bed sheets didn’t match, and the continental breakfast was average, not desirable.

Pros: -parking where cameras and front desk can see vehicles -price -staff was excellent, above and beyond - close enough to walk to shops, food and beach -clean pool and hot tub Cons -Could have been cleaner, wasn’t extremely dirty but most definitely needed to be cleaned more - shower was only able to be used because tub drain pull was broken -no screens on windows -frame of heating/cooling unit falling off

Very bright and open and clean reception and breakfast area. Could not get the internet to work to save my life and the pool was closed one of the days we were there. I specifically wanted a hotel with a pool so I selected this one but nothing to have a melt down over. The lady at the front was there my whole stay which was Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. She was working literally the whole time. She was perky and helpful the whole time and didn’t complain. She’s and the rest of the staff are what make the hotel great. I had an overall very nice stay and will for sure come back again.

This place is literally crumbling around you. The ceilings are leaking, three walls are all water stained, the pool was so murky you couldn't see your feet, the ceiling in the pool looked danerously close to collapsing, the sink in our room was clogged and the heater was broken and they put a plug in geat dish in there in place of it.

Rundown
Our room wasn’t ready at check-in so they gave us a bigger room but it had a pull-out bed that was stuck half pulled out so the extra space was useless. The place was dirty, and lots of broken furniture. The fridge was useless, stuck open and frozen over. There was dents and damage everywhere. The place needs lots of TLC.

People in the breakfast area were looking for milk, for cereal. The staff had to go to the store to get some. Also they ran out of paper plates. Fruit flies were also an issue. After many visits, unfortunately this location is headed in the wrong direction. Unsolicited conversation by strangers also staying there had the same feelings and felt the need to bring it up.

The room they assigned us was trashed, had not been cleaned and it was thrashed, litter/garbage all through the room. It also was not an ocean view room, next room was not as we had booked, third room was better. Heat lamp in bathroom broken, totes in the lobby gathering water from roof leaking into the building, door access to get to the pool didn’t work, staff had to pry it open, jets to hot tub did not work. Staff was made aware of this and said sorry. No offer to compensate. Took my husband for a surprise get away and it certainly was a surprise. Sad because we stayed there a year ago and it was a great experience. Won’t go back again

We had a gew glitches in the beginning. Customer service worked with us the best they could. We did enjoy watching the King Tides in room 322, but stayed in 312. Great breakfast selection.

I go to Ocean Shores a few times a year and have stayed at many hotels on this strip. This was my first time at BayVue, and honestly I chose it because it was lower priced. I was very pleasantly surprised. The common areas are beautiful and were lovingly decorated. The staff were super friendly. Everything was clean. Everything in the room was good except that it was very cold when I arrived. I went for a long swim while the room heated up. The pool area was nice (but also pretty cold) and the water was at an ideal temperature. The only issue I had was that the Wifi didn't work. I got a good connection, but both of my devices said there was no internet available on the network. The staff tried but were unable to help with this. Fortunately I didn't need much data while I was there, so this wasn't a huge problem. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't speak to that.
