There were smelly dirty towels in the bathroom amd the bathroom smells horrible. Looks like someone started to clean the room and just quit. Everything is dingy. This was by far the worst room of my entire trip.
Do not stay , over charge for pets, holes in bathroom towel , ghetto falling apart , wouldn’t give a receipt, didn’t accept IHG number , uncomfortable beds , loud rooms .
I think a 75.00 pet fee is ridiculous and it was upsetting that when I booked I was not made aware of the fee. Had I asked or been informed we would not have booked this hotel. Also the property had no place to potty the dogs that wasn’t full of weeds.
I cannot say enough good about the staff here. The hotel itself was clean and in great shape. But the staff were amazing. I escaped here after being assaulted in my home. I arrived early morning before normal check-in/check-out hours. The overnight desk manager let me check in early and was so friendly and accommodating allowing me to have my name protected and not allow anyone to contact me without going through them first. They went above and beyond getting me anything I needed. Even when I needed a pick-me-up ice cream snack after spending hours in the emergency room. I felt so safe and protected there even before the police were guarding the property. My dad came without them knowing and they wouldn't let him past the desk or give my info out at all until they spoke to me even though he told them he was my dad. They called and checked on me throughout the day and asked if I needed anything to eat or anything at all. I honestly turned down the assault victim facility the OPD offered because I felt safer and more comfortable here. Needless to say, they all deserve praise and thanks for taking such great care of me. Not that I hope anyone else needs to escape as a victim, but they just treated me like family. I couldn't have asked for a better place. I wasn't sure what to expect as I was just trying to find a place that would allow my dog to be with me.
Why maid would bother a client if check is 11am don’t have them knock on doors before then?? Also no one was upfront at checkin had to call for someone!!
For a handicap room it was tight. The bed was about two feet from the wall on the left side...not enough for my husband's wheel chair. He has to sleep on the left side because he has only one good arm to reach for water, tissue, etc. It was problematic

Decent stay for the price!
Staff was excellent. Room was missing items from the kitchen that are normally there. I love to stay at Candlewoods for my extended stays, but this location needs to step up on maintenance issues. Simple fixes make a huge difference on the property.
