Lake Life!

The thing I love most about our home is our amazing sunrises. It’ll feel like you’re 1,000,000 miles from civilization when you’re just tucked away on a semi-private lake. Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, floating, sun bathing, or just simply relaxing. We are only 10 minutes from shopping, restaurants, golf courses, parks and hiking, and several major wedding venues. We are 20 minutes from downtown chattanooga and major city attractions including Rock City, Ruby Falls, Chattanooga Aquarium, Chattanooga Zoo, Cherokee National Forest, the Ocoee River, and much more. Our lake season is limited to six months. April through October. You will still have amazing water views and sunrises, but water activities may be limited during the off-season.

We are pet friendly for smaller, house broken, cage trained pets, but please ask about our pet fee.

Come see why we love Chattanooga and choose to call Ooltewah our home. This is a private access basement apartment in my home. We live upstairs. But youll have all the privacy you want and need for a great vacation with your own driveway private entrance, and private hot tub, and fire pit.

This was a beautiful property. The lake is gorgeous and the apartment is comfortable and cute. Using the paddle board and sitting on the dock was definitely the highlight. A great escape. I will be recommending this rental to all of my friends and family.

The place was clean and the owner, Herby was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The place was smaller than it seemed in the pictures. The hot tub took a few hours to work and the fire pit didn’t work at all.

We were there for a wedding at Howe Farms. All other attendees were 45+ minutes away. We were 12 minutes. It was fantastic! Loved the place. Would like to go back for a couple days away when we have time to use the pool and hot tub. They looked so inviting.

It was a beautiful home in a good area. It was not very private since you are in the basement and houses all around you. The bed was not comfortable at all. My partner had to sleep on the floor.

I was looking for a quiet getaway, I was the picture of the water and mountain and knew that was where I wanted to spend a couple days. I drive 5 and a half hours and WAS NOT disappointed. I’m not sure I can affectively describe the peace, tranquility and the sunset the first night was breathtaking. This would most definitely be a place I would recommend for either a solo trip to getaway from the business of life or a couple wanting to spend some quality time together.
