“Can't Wait to Go Back-Explorer's HQ”

Well, the location of the hotel is litteraly 5 min walking from the Shin-Osaka train station. That was the biggest part in me exploring Japan-to be close to a major train station. I had the included breakfast which was really helpful since I couldn't see any actual restaurants near-by. Accomodations were great, bed was comfy, breakfast was good, hotel/room very clean. The rooms are small compared to American hotel rooms but you're in Japan and things are a little smaller there but if you're out to explore I believe this hotel/room serves it purpose really well. From my hotel to all the way to Hiroshima by train it takes about 2hrs-like I said, close to major train station so it was easy and reasonable to travel long distances.

Walking distance from central gate at Shin-Osaka Station. Access to underground subway even closer to hotel. Very convenient. Breakfast buffet was good. Service good as usual.

The hotel room was clean and comfy, and the hotel is so close to Shin-Osaka train station that going anywhere was very easy. Highly recommend this hotel to any interested travellers.

The hotel is right next to the JR Shin-Osaka Station, only one station away from the main Osaka Station. It took less than 10 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. We chose this hotel based on the reviews submitted by other travelers. Everything was exactly as what they have commented. The hotel is kind of old and the semi-double room is very small. However, we didn't spend much time in our rooms, so it didn't matter. I couldn't have found a better hotel for my trip for such a good price.

“Great hotel for the price”

We really enjoyed our stay at the New Osaka Hotel. It is literally right next to the Shin-Osaka station, which made getting around Osaka and the surrounding region very easy. The rooms were small compared to Western style rooms, but clean and comfortable. Our major complaint was that the bed was small and the comforter provided for the bed was not nearly big enough to cover two people. I would highly recommend the New Osaka hotel for anyone traveling to Osaka on a budget.

“Worth the convenience.”

The hotel is conveniently located in-between two subway stations and a major JR train terminal. The hotel staff was very helpful with advice on how to get to some sight-seeing places. The only thing I can complain is the mattress being stiff. However, all of the good out-weigh the bad. The all-you-can eat buffet was an excellent way to start the day, too. If you're going to stay in Osaka for a few nights and want a convenient place, I highly recommend the New Osaka Hotel.

“Great deal, great location and great hotel”

Excellent hotel quality for price range. Location walking distance from JR train station. Great location starting point to other areas of Japan like Kyoto, Hiroshima, Mt. Fuji. Go for the breakfast with room if you can, very tasty and good deal.

The Hotel is withing waling distance from the JR Shin-Osaka station. The entrance is pleasant and the staff are nice. The room is very clean and the bathroom has the "toto" heated toilet. They provide plenty bottled water. new sleepers, kimono & mini-refrigerator, and free internet. The room is very tiny, but hey this is Japan. The breakfast buffet is great with japanese and western style food. When it rains they let you borrow umbrellas. Bring your own adaptor for your laptop, because the hotel doesn't have nor any of the stores nearby. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. It's a bargain for the hotel location (in front of the "shinkansen" and subway station). And you don't hear any noises from the tracks.

“Great Rail Connections in Osaka”

I spent 9 nights at the hotel visiting my son who was studying abroad at Osaka University. The location was ideal within a few minutes of the Shin-Osaka Terminal. There is subway and rail connections to every part of the Kansai region and Shinkansen to the north and south. The hotel was very comfortable, very clean. Yes rooms are small, but everything in Japan is smaller. Bed was great and room was very quiet. A great price through Expedia. If you are looking for close by places to walk to, there is not that much in the immediate area, but if you want to connections in Osaka, and day trips to Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, Nagoya it worked great!

Very nice room, clean and efficient (read not too large but comfortable). Limited space for luggage.
