The place was clean, convenient, and safe: the three things I look for in an overnight stay. Checking in was quick and easy and the breakfast area was inviting.

Rooms are typical for Super 8, typical continental breakfast of cold cereal and pastries. Biggest disappointment was that the pool was not heated sufficiently to enjoy.

The entire 3rd floor hallway reeked of cigarette and marijuana when I came back around 9:00 PM. I do not know when check in changed to 4:00 but I had a party to attend and had to wait. Then the guy at the desk could not get things to work on his computer to check me in and I had to wait again. Other than that, everything was fine.

Check-in was awesome.. lobby was clean and neat. The parking lot, and hotel grounds, on the other hand, was dirty and very unkept. the A/C unit in our room (room 109) had a musty smell, so the entire room smelled musty - might be time to do some maintenance or clean the unit - the smell made for a rough night of sleep.

Staff was good, breakfast was good. Cleanliness good (though I do think at last emptying wastebaskets on a daily basis would be SOP). But we couldn't get a decent night's sleep with bedding that slithered off the bed and didn't keep us covered in the night. Wifi was good; TV pretty good, parking good. Overall, We'd say the services were not adequate for the price.

Front door handicap opener was not working - we passed it on to desk. MAJOR FUTURE DEAL BREAKER was the total disdain for our request at 11:00 am to do an early check-in. Our itinerary had changed and we could have used an hour or two to refresh before our 4-?? engagement. Would also have liked a safety bar near the toilet. Will definitely look elsewhere next trip - perhaps Eau Claire. We never had a problem with early check-in the few times plans were altered!

Hallway garbage odor was overwhelming. Room odor cant even describe. No body soap in the dispenser on the wall in the shower. Toilet seat screws were so loose you had to be careful when sitting down. Manager did get someone to change the hallway garbage quickly. She also changed our room, to a less odorous room.

Our room was very clean and nice! The pool water was a little cold and there weren't a ton of options for breakfast, but there was more than enough to satisfy us.
