The property is clean and cozy. Excellentt staff service . I manage to have a good sleep but really suggest that they needed to extra cushion as the spring of the bed is feeling on your back. But overall all good as its easy access to city center. Highly recommended this property.
I booked a single room for one night with shared bathroom while visiting family in Oxford.
The guest house is in a perfect location in Summertown, on a direct bus route from city centre with lots of cafes restaurants and shops close by. The 500 park and ride bus goes directly from the railway station to bus stop right opposite the guest house.
The attic room was small but spotlessly clean with fresh bedding and towels. The bathroom was modern and also spotless. As the room was in attic it had a velux window in the roof. It didn't close properly meaning if it had rained the rain would have fallen directly on the bed.
The guest house is on a very busy main road and the traffic noise was loud even during the night as I couldn't close the window. Also the walls were very thin and i could hear the conversation of the people staying in the room next door.
I'd advise guests to remember to take their room key with them when they use the bathroom as i was woken at 6am by a fellow guest who had locked themselves out and needed help!
Breakfast was available and there was a bright clean dining room although i didnt have the breakfast.
Overall if the window and noise issues were fixed it would have been a great stay its a lovely little guest house in a really convenient location for a visit to Oxford.
Summertown is a nice location for Oxford. Pleasant walk (30 minutes) or short bus ride to central Oxford.
The wifi was decent. Walls a bit thin, and the shower leaked water on the bathroom floor, but nothing too bad.
The breakfast was very nice, with good coffee and eggs cooked to order.
A pleasant guesthouse not too far from Blenheim Palace. We had a nice room with tea/coffee facilities and toiletries plus free breakfast and parking at a great price. Staff were always happy to help and very polite. There is also a bus stop right outside.

Lina guest house is located in a very convenient location just 5 mins drive from town centre or 30 mins walk. There are Tesco and Sainsbury local just at 1min walking distance. I stayed in double room en-suite and it was absolutely lovely and clean stay. The staff is very polite and attentive. The breakfast is basic and good, nothing fancy but It is fine. For the price and hospitality i would give 10/10. Thank you guys, cheers!

The guest house location was very convenient for shops and restaurants. The place was spotlessly clean and very nicely furnished. Check-in etc. worked very smoothly. I would be happy to recommend it to other potential guests

Hi, Sarah! Thank you for your support, your feedback made it into our day. We hope to regularly amaze you with our services. Regards, Jacob
They cancelled my stay less than 24 hours before without any formal explanation or notification - just a text saying a refund was being processed. If I hadn’t have phoned up I wouldn’t have known and would have arrived in Oxford with no hotel waiting for me. Appalling.

The photographs are not an accurate portrayal of the reality of the rooms. The room was fairly shabby really and the toilet leaked.

I stayed here before the oxford half marathon in a single room. Was quiet, fairly comfortable and did the job. Well located around a mile from the city centre.
This B&B lived up to expectation. The room was well-decorated and comfortable, the breakfast was fine and the landlord friendly and welcoming. My only two minor quibbles were the lack of an ensuite toilet and the limited number of TV channels. Otherwise happy with my stay.
lovely service. Room was small but warm. Only issue was the wooden bed posts where I kept slamming my thighs as I tried to get to the TV, window blinds.

A good trade off between convenience and price
Very convenient location for the city. Friendly staff. Cooked breakfast was very good. Room was clean. I found the bed and pillows too hard, but we all have our own preferences about that. Bathroom was very small but clean and functional. Given the very high prices of accommodation in Oxford this is a pretty good compromise if you just want somewhere to get your head down for the night and want to to be able to get into town easily. I probably wouldn’t want to spend more than a couple of nights there or to take a partner there, but to be fair, it’s not really aimed at that at market. What it does, it does well and it’s fairly good value.

Family room trip
We were 3 adults and 2 children, expecting a double bed and sofa bed as advertised. The family room in fact contains a double bed and a single bed. It’s very expensive for what it is, but then so is the rest of Oxford. Breakfast was fine, the boiled eggs were welcome and well-cooked - the woman serving was exceptionally friendly and efficient. It was fine for a single night stay, but wouldn’t have worked for us for any longer.
We stayed one night to visit the city. The hotel is on a road which several main bus routes travel along so you never wait long for a bus in or out. Our Tom was clean and comfortable, although the standard double bed was a little smaller than we prefer. Limited parking out front made life easier, and hotel staff were enormously helpful when we thought we had lost our hotel and car keys. Breakfast was basic but pleasant. It’s worth remembering this is a guest house, not a hotel and not part of a chain, so comparisons to such places isn’t rally fair.
Lovely large and clean room, friendly service and good communication. Easy to park in side street. Breakfast is basic but nice. Will and have stayed again.
Our stay at Lina Guest House was excellent - they allowed us to leave our car on their drive before the official check-in time and even offered to let us leave it there the next day, when technically we had checked out. The bus stop was 200m down the road and buses were very frequent and only took 8 minutes to reach the centre of Oxford. We felt welcomed, were given a front door key along with our room key without us having to ask. Would happily stay again in the future, and probably will as we intend another visit to Oxford soon.
Lovely family room for me and my kids. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Allowed us to park the car in their space for the rest of the day after check out, so we could explore Oxford without the high car parking fees. Good breakfast if a little limited in choice. Overall fantastic value for money and would definitely stay there again.
