Great HotelPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Adults only
Only stayed 3 nights but felt completely rested. Rooms lovely, staff great, only downside was the beach. This was a bit of a disappointment as sand was very gritty(broken shells) and approach to water a bit rocky. However there was a platform set up from the beach so you could go straight into the sea. The Pool in the hotel was so large with plenty of beds that we didn't worry about the beach. About 10 min cab ride to Paphos town and harbour. All in all had a lovely break and would definitely go back.

A very happy weekPosted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Everything they offered.... Service, food and quiet day to day feel.....what a relaxing atmosphere they generate.
Location: Location was NOT 20 minutes from Paphos centre.... It is a 40 minute walk along a straight road or a few minutes with a passing taxi.
It started with a very professional, courteous welcome and unusual but outstanding check in process and continued through the week to become an outstanding stay at a very well maintained and operated hotel. The only negative was the softer than I like mattress but it's not my bed so nothing to be concerned with. The positives were everywhere....really great service from everyone. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, sun beds are everywhere and always lots free, pool is heaven...warm and refreshing. Lunch service and sea views were perfection and evening buffet was again accompanied with outstanding service and a good variety of food...choice enough for all. The cold towels, frozen melon and grapes handed out during the day around the pool added to that special hotel feel. Stayed in room 415 which is the top floor and has fantastic sea views. I consider myself a little selective and somewhat caught up on the little things around good service but I had nothing but a fantastic time ..... I would return in a heartbeat and will be back as soon as possible.

Wonderful stayPosted Aug 4, 2014
Just back from a weeks trip and couldn't fault the hotel. Check in was simple and easy, well looked after by Anna. Quality of food and service was fantastic (thank you to Carmen and Izabella for taking such good care of us). Great facilities and will be back. Only small point to note - don't go expecting the perfect beach, it's a tad on the rocky side.

Lovely Hotel, LuxuryPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: The pool and the view is lovely, and the rooms are to a very high standard. the breakfast selection was varied as well.
Cons: The one thing we found that could be improved was the attitude of the staff. they were pleasant, but at times we found them to be quiet serious.
Location: the location is a little far from the port etc, about a 40min walk. however a taxi is only 8 euros, and in the heat it was a better option!
we stayed at the Asimina for 10 nights. It is a lovely and very luxurious hotel. I cannot fault it, and we would most certainly return. The only downside we found, was with the staff. we stayed on a half board basis, but we found the staff to be very serious and a little unwelcoming! it seems as if the 5* service has gone a little to there heads. myself and my partner were never asked when we were dining how we were, how our holiday was going etc, NEVER! and when we were being served it was as if they really didn't want to be there. I would rate this hotel 5* if the staff were to SMILE a little bit more and be a little more friendly, but they wasnt!. Also the hotel for drinks etc is very expensive! we found them to be about 2 euros dearer than anywhere else - especially water!

Pros: Everything from the location right through to the service.
Cons: Cannot fault anything
Location: Essentially right on the beach - private. calm and quiet yet only 30 min walk to Paphos main harbour
Total relaxation - staff couldn't do enough for you

Outstanding service at a wonderful hotel!Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Service Suite Location Hotel facilities
Cons: If you're going to be really really picky - plugs next to the bed so you can re-charge your phone overnight!
A truly first class 5 star hotel - where the whole team understand the concept of service and deliver it each day, every day, all day! Location is in the best part of Paphos - away from the busier tourist traps - but close enough to the town centre and harbour that its very walkable along the beautiful beach side path. Facilities in the hotel were wonderful - and the food amazing - each breakfast and every evening - don't know where you would put a lunch if you took one - and a choice of restaurants. The suite was great - bedroom, bathroom and lounge - with a lovely sea view over the pool and palms,

very pleasant experiencePosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: the rooms, staff and sun beds
Cons: the food could have been a little better, seemed a little mass catering at times
Location: right on the beech, 30 minute walk to the main tourist area. excellent golf course some 15 minute drive away
facilities are most excellent, as are the rooms which are spacious. the staff are very friendly and very helpful. it is a little distance from the tourist area which is an asset or liability depending n your point of view. it is rated as 5 star but would rate it as 4+ but this is reflected in the price which we thought excellent value for money.
