This hotel is a gem. Extremely clean and room was well maintained. Room was small - but remember you are in Paris. Front desk staff helpful. Shera (I hope this spelling is correctly) was above and beyond in terms of helpfulness at all times. I felt like I was coming home to see her when I returned to hotel. When the ATM "ate" my bank card she handled calling the bank and arranging for retrieval. Other staff helpful with directions. The only downside we could find was the surrounding area. Was difficult to find cafes and restaurants in area. Hence, Uber!

The hotel is in a great location close to a metro and other neat sights in the city. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room; however, is tiny. It was a nice room with a comfortable bed, but you barely have any room. This is understandable being downtown Paris, just something to be aware of. Even tinier than the room is the bathroom/shower. If you want a good spot to stay in at a semi-reasonable price than this is a good option. If you don't like small spaces, I would avoid.

The staff was very helpful. The location is near train stations , good neighborhood and feel the atmosphere in the 90 of Paris. I will come back and stay again.

Room small, wallpaper peeling in one place and woodwork badly finished off, skirting boards needed painting. There was a kettle, but nothing provided and no fridge for any milk etc. Bathroom had no ventilation, the shower glass didnt meet the bath, so the room flooded, sink plug didnt work.

Off the beaten path
Very old hotel, but worth the price paid. Small room and tiny bathroom. Clean, tv worked and bed was comfortable. Great place traveling on a budget! Felt safe in neighborhood. Lots of good restaurants in area. Very close to Metro line 8&9. Out of touristy area but easy to get anywhere by Metro! Would stay again!

Lovely cosy low cost Paris City Hotel
Nice stay, small cozy hotel, very clost to the metro lines, very nice on street cafee's, resturaunt, and food shops near by. Good free Wi-Fi Staff very friendly and helpfull. We got what we expcted for a low cost Paris City hotel

The room was not like the photo but petit. The shower was so small you could not bend over to pick up any item you dropped. The sink was no bigger than a dentist spit bowl. The rooms are not air conditioned ( 34 C or 95 F on the days of our stay). We made do for the price but not entirely pleasant.

If you’re looking for a budget-mid range hotel for your city break then this hotel is perfect. We didn’t set our expectations too high after seeing many negative reviews, but we were satisfied with our stay. The location is great, close to many shops and restaurants, and the metro from Voltaire just a 5 min walk away was ideal. The room wasn’t the biggest but we only ever planned on using it as somewhere to sleep and relax, and it was great for that. I always believe you get what you pay for, and we were happy enough with our stay here.

The hotel is quite dated, the furniture very very old. The room was small but that is nothing to do with the hotel all hotels in Paris are the same. Reception lady told us every time we go out we need to leave our keys with them. I have never seen anything like this before. The staff hardly speaks any English. Dark hall ways, small cramped lift and very dated property. Room did not even have the basic tea and coffee making facilities. Phone was not connected but was in the room? I would not recommend. For €200 I can get better option near the city centre with decent and maintained furniture. I should have checked before, but it's difficult to know these kind of things when the reviews are good, which is surprising as I did not feel my stay was good.

It is a good location and should improve to have more positive comments. I am pleased but it would make me return if I had a little more of comfort🤔😍

Rooms are very small, which shouldn’t come to a surprise if you pay attention to description… but still. No a/c, which can be painful in the summer. Pricey breakfast not included. All of this would be fine if staff was nice and welcoming. They are not. We liked the price and location though, so that’s two pluses.

It was alright for the price. Friendly staff, the hotel was difficult to locate as it did not have the name written on it. The good part of it was that its located in a busy area, close to the metro and great sites for visiting.
