Refurbished .... Wow !!!Posted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: The location. All the staff.
Location: A five minute walk from the 'Roissybus' terminus from the airport ... across the street from 'Les Grands Magasins.
14th? (I've lost count) stay at the Hotel Antrin Trinite and the makeover of the bedrooms and bathrooms is complete. What a difference!! The rooms are freshly decorated and carpeted - though some folks have already caused minor 'damage'! Temporary' storage in the rooms has been improved. Such an improvement in the bathrooms with contemporary fittings - though the shower cubicle was small (to meet the room footprint) ... Nevertheless, another plus. The breakfast room is still to be completed. As before, the reception staff are superb .... to be recognized and made welcome again is such a feel good factor. As expected, the rooms are kept spotlessly clean. Of course there will be a 15th visit .... and more .... for reasons given above.

Work in progress - but a prime location!Posted Jun 18, 2013
Pros: quick efficient service at reception - free newspaper
Cons: the lift
Location: perfect - see aboe
The best thing about this hotel is its location. Close to Galeries La Fayette and the tube line which goes to the Louvre Museum and the centre of Paris. Not too far from Gare du Nord either. The room was small but comfortable and clean. THe TV signal was very poor. There was a big shower, no bath. The down side is that the hotel is being renovated, most floors were full of workmen and from Monday morning onwards, the work was extremely noisy. The lift was diminutive (very claustrophobic) and didn't always work first go. My room was on 5th floor .... It was possible to have breakfast (£10) but only in your room. On the other hand, just a few yards from the front door, you could have a very good breakfast in la Pomme de Pain for @4 to @6.50 Euros. Worth another visit when the work is finished!

Pros: Clean, new equipments, friendly

Location is perfect! The hotel is just renewed and it is very cleaned. I would like to have a few things in the room were a refrigerator and free WiFi. Many hotels in Paris provide free WiFi.

My Paris getaway home.Posted Jun 4, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, new renovations, tall windows, staff.
Cons: Room size, bathroom/shower size, no free WIFI.
Location: Near RER, Opera Garnier, Galleries Lafayette, cafes, churches, etc.
As the hotel is currently experiencing renovation, we were pleased that our room, though TEENIE TINY (!!!), was new. You can't stand in the shower if you're more than 5'8"H x 36"W, the bed is a double & the closet is a clothes rack. There's a 2-foot walking space around the bed, a desk & one bedside table. The bathroom was recently tiled, new carpets, clean white linens, comfortable mattress, working heater/AC & new (floor-to-ceiling) windows. We had to take the elevator when the spiral stairwell was plastered (to the new 4th level), but construction occurred between hours that we were out on the town. That was our only interaction with a worker throughout the week. The staff was patient with our poor French, but spoke English well & offered proper phonetics. Although they weren't too familiar with areas beyond the arrondissement, they offer a map, wake up calls & their friendly assistance. The hotel is very convenient to the RER, a 1-min walk from the train station off the Saint Lazare stop. This train connects to zones 1-5! I liked that the hotel entrance was easy to miss, because it wasn't flashy & pretentious. The location is phenomenal, within 3 min walk to the Opera Garnier & Galleries Lafayette (one of the nicest walking neighborhoods) & next to several cafes. Down the street are two of the most beautiful churches in all of Paris (I've seen them all). FYI: PICKPOCKETS! Say bonjour/merci/au revoir madame/oiselle or monsieur so people don't think you're rude -manners!

CAN'T RECOMMEND IT .Posted Jun 1, 2013
Pros: LOCATION WAS QUITE GOOD.
Cons: ROOM SIZE.
Location: VERY CONVENIENTLY LOCATED NEAR THE OPERA AND THE GRANDS BOULEVARDS. AT QUITE EASY WALKING DISTANCE FROM ALMOST ANYWHERE, IF ONE LIKE WALKING.
THE ROOM WAS EXTREMELY SMALL. ONE CAN HARDLY MOVE IN IT. THE SHOWER & SINK PIECE IS HARDLY 6'X3' AND YOU CANT MOVE IN IT WITHOUT HITTING THE WALLS. AND THE TOILET IS 3'X3' HARDLY ONE CAN STAND IN IT. TERRIBLE. BUT, A BIG HELLO TO THE RECEPTION STAFF, ESPECIALLY TWO BLACK GUYS, ONE WITH SHAVED HEAD.
