Great location, helpful and friendly staffPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Great Location Helpful & Friendly Staff
Location: Just off the Rue de Bac in the 7th district nr the louvre and the Musee d'orsay in St Germain de Pres. Very chic district.
Stayed 3 nights at the Pont Royal, our impression was of a well run, friendly hotel. The room we stayed in (superior) was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. We were at the back of the hotel so not much of a view. Only draw backs were that the Air con was very dry and the TV was'nt working properly but for us that was not really an issue. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The location was superb very Nr the louvre and the Musee d'orsay.

Weekend breakPosted Mar 23, 2015
Fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff were extremely helpful, Especially Christophe who gave us numerous directions, recommendations and made dinner reservations. This made our trip! The superior bedroom was clean and a nice size, lovely clean bathroom. Can't complain. Just Be careful as the hotel bar is very expensive!

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of ParisPosted Mar 8, 2015
We just stayed at Hotel Pont Royal for 5 nights, in one of their suites. A beautiful old hotel, walking distance to some of Paris's best tourist attractions. For those just out of walking distance, the hotel is 80m away from Rue de Bac Metro station, so you're never far away from anything. Very comfortable room, great bed, lots of English TV stations (all news stations though), and very good speed free wifi. Directly opposite the hotel is a Monoprix supermarket. Not the cheapest supermarket, but it's great for all the little things you'll need. Room service at the hotel was limited to the expensive restaurant downstairs. Great food, but too expensive with limited options - not great if you are after some easy room service. Bathroom was very well appointed - great shower pressure and long hot water. An excellent stay - we will definitely stay here again when next we return to Paris.

Great locationPosted Mar 4, 2015
Location: Within walking distance to the main sites.
The hotel is in a great location and in a quiet area. The room was a little small but we were offered an alternative room for an extra 30 euro. This wasn't taken up due to the amount of time we were to spend in the room.

Lovely rooms good locationPosted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The room, the people. It's all in the above section
Cons: I hope the Internet was faster without having to pay extra for fast speed internet.
Location: Shopping, eating, l'escargot montorgueil was only about fifteen minute walk?
When we first checked in we were helped by Demba and his service was exceptional! He was very kind and gentil and explained important things very pleasantly and in detail. Other staffs were ok but I can't forget the service and warm welcome I have received from Demba exceptionally. I have travel through Vienna, Austria, and Prague, Czech Republic in this trip but he was the best hotelier I met, yet! And then we went up to the room and, I was so very pleased with the decorations and color uses and art piece hung in then room all together. If you are a person who cares about ambiance of your hotel room, all the cute details of this room will keep you happy. I wish Internet was bit faster with out having to pay extra....

Our favoritePosted Feb 5, 2015
Pros: Staff, location, quiet if you are not in a room dancing the street.
Cons: Internet, and all systems associated with their connectivity
We enjoyed our staff and new refurbished room. Second stay in 90 days and the staff responded to our needs that were discussed upon our last departure with the exception of one area. The Internet is painfully slow and the TV service that is apparently tied in with the interenet system is sub standard. They need to spend the money to upgrade. Due to my need business needs during my stay, the Internet access is crucial. i am in Paris 3 to 4 times per year and will most likely have to find another hotel with modern IT. I hope they upgrade as I would continue with this Hotel in the future.

Hotel Pont RoyalPosted Feb 2, 2015
