The property is very well located, in a quiet street and near a beautiful park (Monceau). Despite a boiler problem resulting in a lack of hot water, the front desk agent, Pascal, was very nice and accommodating; he offered free cancelation and breakfast (very good), after the only night I stayed (out of 3). This kind of issue can happen to any hotel, it was just bad luck. I would suggest a little more effort in terms of cleanliness though, in both the room bathroom.

Great stay!
This was a great stay in a family neighborhood. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is a prix across the street for easy purchases and many lovely restaurants nearby. It is a close walk to the park and most attractions. We wanted to walk Paris and this hotel was a great location for us. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

The hotel is located in nice neighborhood. Our room #12 was very small, smells molds, and at the end the washroom sink was not working. There is no sound isolation so you can hear every move of your neighbors and you have to wisper other wise will get nocking into your walls. The concierge is very friendly and there for you 24 hrs.

We always stay around the Wagram area when we go to Paris, it’s clean and quiet with lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel itself was fantastic in terms of cleanliness and the lady at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful. Only criticism I have is that the TV in the room didn’t have any English speaking channels or smart app connection to Netflix etc, as we didn’t bring a laptop it meant we couldn’t watch anything for entertainment in the room.

I liked everything about this property the only problem was the safe in my room was t accessible and therefore I had to walk around Paris with my passport which was very disappointing

You should saw that there was no more smace to have a bigger one. Alevators in Paris has been installed few years after the building construction, so they had to fit the elevator in a building with no space organized for this. This is a very affordable 3-star hotel in a nice area, away from the hustle and bustle around the Louvre but walking distance from the Arc de Triumph. The Metro stations are close. Clean, tidy rooms with big, comfortable beds. The rooms are a little on the tight side but well laid out with all the amenities (little fridge, coffee maker). The buffet breakfast was lovely with fresh squeezed juice, good coffee, and a nice array of pastries, cheeses, fruit, and meat. The front desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly. For the price, this hotel was way more than we expected.

Would come back
Everything was fine, we used the room really only to sleep, didn't spend the day there, didn't eat there. That being said, we had everything we needed - comfy bed, nice bathroom, polite staff, daily cleaning. The area felt safe. Room was dark with the blinds on and cleaning lady didn't come too early so she didn't wake us up. I actually wake up once in the middle of the night and noticed the internet was down, I went down to reception and they were very nice and fixed it. 24h reception truly.

Fantastic people at a lovely location
Their website set a very high bar. It's obvious from your first interaction that they think everything out. I was so amazed that they were able to carry this level of attention to detail through to meat space. The staff nearly jump out of their seats to assist you every time you come any where near the front desk. They are genuinely helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Their English is almost flawless. They will allow you to butcher French. I stayed in room 15. In the pictures, this is the one with a blue headboard and astrological theme. The bed was enormous. More importantly it was SUPER comfy. There were a couple of items in the room that were a little shop worn, but everything was universally clean. The shower was HUGE. It was a magic trick in itself. I am a large person and thought at first glance it would be big enough. When I stepped in, I could see it was really double the size. There's no shortage of hot water here. Unlike every other hotel this trip, there were sufficient towels and they actually absorbed water. The soap worked and smelled wonderful. Despite being centrally located in a very nice, walkable neighbourhood, noise transmission between the outer hotel and rooms is minimal. This room was very dark which let me sleep very well. While I did not eat breakfast, I am happy to say that from what I smelled you might wish to order it during your stay. If you're interested in Park Monceau, Asian Art, or turn of the century architecture, you can't do better.

Fantastic stay at boutique hotel in Wagram
Quirky decored, boutique hotel with larger than usual (for Paris) sized room. Own Nespresso machine in room so able to make free hot drinks (also unusual for Paris hotels). Handy location to supermarket, eateries, shopping, Metro station (erratic operation due to strike action by public servants), walking distance to major tourist attractions and very helpful staff.

Super little Boutique Hotel!
Super little Boutique hotel with a 'magic' theme. Rooms are very close to each other and the lift is absolutely tiny, ( You couldn't fit 2 adults plus bags into it) but generally the hotel is very cute. The breakfast was lovely and the service was excellent. The reception staff speak superb English and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a quirky little Boutique Hotel which is close to central Paris (4 minute walk to the nearest Metro and only a 20 minute walk to Montmarte and the Moulin Rouge!) for a very reasonable cost, then look no further than the Hotel Splendour! :-) My only critique would be that the top hats up the stairs could really do with a clean as they were very dusty and we couldn't get any English speaking channels on the satellite TV but to be fair it really didn't impact our stay at all. Great stay overall :-) We will be back!

Quirky and well located hotel
The hotel very quirky with it's magic theme! It's in a good location, an 8min walk from Monceau metro station with lots of shops and restaurants/cafes nearby. My room was an adequate size for a single person. It had a TV, coffee machine (chargeable if you wanted to use it), but no coffee cups that I could see. My room was next to the stairwell so I could hear noises from the ground floor. Luckily it was quiet enough at night but not first thing in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the only downside I had with my stay was I couldn't control the air con/heating in my room. It's on a centralised system and as it is/was October, the heating was on for the whole hotel and my room was very warm which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The window did open but it was too cold to leave it open all night. I also didn't get a city view room which is what I booked, but as I was only staying one night (and was exhausted), I didn't have it in me to try to change rooms. Apart from these two things I would happily stay here again.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay for few nights in Paris.. we just loved the room decor,comfortable bed,lovely shower with hair wash,hair conditioner and body milk.. coffee machine in d room..a full mirror... So close to 2 metro stops.. and bus stops... hardly 20 mins walk to Champ Eleysees... just the perfect hotel.. would love to book again...

As we explained to as many guests as possible that day, we had a very inconsiderate and visibly unbalanced client who set the alarm on and could not be controlled. We actually had to call the police to solve the problem. This type of incident is extremely rare, and the alarm siren cannot be stopped for a full 5 mn for security reasons. Better than many of the local alternatives
I visit local office regulalry, so often stay at local hotels and will return to this hotel. --- Small hotel in very good area; smallest lift imaginable, so could be a problem for a wheelchair user. The room was a generous size; good bathroom. Would return, but the insulation is poor, so the people talking in corridor were disturbing and slight smell of damp.

Located in a nice area (a bit too residential though, there are better parts in the 8th arrondissement). The room was much smaller than shown in the picture, very dark and had stale air. The bed was comfortable but a bit short (I’m 163cm tall).

Tried to cancel reservation and/or change to a later date due to the riots in Paris. They said it was non-refundable rate and the riots were over. That same weekend, the riots continued and also continued to the next weekend. This hotel cares more about their bottom line than the safety of their guests.

Dear Mrs W., We understand your disappointment for not having been able to come to Paris as planned, but it is unfair to solely blame the hotel for this. When you made your booking, you had the choice of booking a flexible rate, which you could have cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before arrival, or booking the Non refundable rate, which gives you a nice discount on our Best Available Rate but cannot be refunded if cancelled. You chose the 2nd one, accepting therefore the Non refundable cancellation policy. On the weekends during which the Yellow Vests protests took place, our staff stayed informed about the situation all day long, hour by hour, to give all our guests all the information available about the riots, and advising them on how to still enjoy the city despite the protests. Our guests appreciated our efforts, as they could see we took their safety very very seriously. Furthermore, the protests took place mainly in the Champs-Elysées and City Centre, and indeed, the last ones had basically no repercussions since there were by then only a few Yellow Vests left still attempting to protest: shops were open, as well as museums, monuments, etc, with the support of police authorities.
