Nice Hotel in a Wonderful Neighborhood
The Zazie is a boutique hotel located in a fabulous neighborhood with bakeries, bars and really incredible restaurants (affordable but excellent) surrounding it. The window of the room opened out to a wonderful view of the block and let in a nice cool breeze. Breakfast is offered and the staff is so helpful and nice. Will stay here again!

Nice hotel close to eateries
Friendly and helpful staff, especially Anne. The hotel is quirky and pleasant. My room and toilet was cleaned everyday. Great bang for your buck. We went during summer, the temperature got to 27C and it was slightly warm in the evening to night as there was no air conditioning or fan. However, it is cooling in the morning. Breakfast croissant was fantastic! Thank you for making our stay in Paris so homey.

Well, pitty and sorry ! Old that is probably because we re-use, according to our sustainable policy. Crowded is more suprising for us. Usually Zazie is said to be quiet and peacefull place. Nice summer to you !

Easy walk to Gare de Lyon
Nice hotel. Smaller rooms but that's Paris :) Staff was great with giving directions. I found it odd you have to give back the keys - only one staff member confirmed my name the others just handed the key over so I could have asked for any room key. We didn't want our room cleaned but there was no sign to put on the door to say do not distrurb it would be helpful if they had do not disturb signs. I'd also like the coffee/tea station to be free. At 2eros a cup it adds up quick. It was cold and wet outside so a warm cup of tea would have been awesome. They did have a great selection of teas! The front breakfast room is really nice - we sat and enjoyed tea there the one night.

Great place to stay, comfortable, lovely staff
Definitely would recommend ZaZie hotel. Rooms clean, plenty of space and well kept, comfortable. Staff lovely, helpful and friendly, ready to help your Paris stay a pleasant one. They'll help you with French and also speak English. Breakfasts superb, all you need to fuel your day. The lift is a beauty. Top stay, met every aspect of a hotel I was seeking.

Nice hotel in good area
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff very helpful. Breakfast fine. Room was quite small but you're only there to sleep/shower! Area good with plenty of bars/eating places and easy to get to other parts of Paris via the nearby Reuilly Diderot Metro (left out of hotel then right at lights - 120 yards). Would recommend.

First of all the key didn't fit correctly; had to play with it. The wallpaper was from 1969, plus faded with some edges ripped. When I sat on the toilet bowl my knees hit the door. (I'm 5'3") When you open the bathroom door it just about hit the bed; so no one can be on the other side or there going to get hurt. No face cloths , and when I asked I was told they don't have any. Towels were as hard as rocks plus they had raw edges from wear. No room for toiletries in bathroom. Breakfast was 9€ for bread cheese and coffee. When the people in the next room talked it was like they were in the room with you. When the cleaning staff was there you had to move there stuff in order to get off the elevator or down the stairs or hall. For $130+ a night Canadian it was totally not worth it.

Small and quite location hotel.
I chose Zazie or Mistral hotel because of our connection to Firenze by train from Gare De Lyon. The location is at the outskirts of Paris, close to convenient store and many cafes, metro station to the city. The place is quite. We had a good sleep there. The room is too small for 3 of us, and the bathroom is a bit slippery, and too small for us. We barely fit into that! But the beds are comfortable. They have a hair dryer attached to the wall of the bathroom. Overall we are happy with our stay here considering the price we paid.

Everything wet well, and the staff was very supportive of all guests' needs. I personally did not need anything special but I witnessed the support offered to other guests in the breakfast room.

We has a great stay at Hotel Zazie. The room was small but clean. The shower unit looked new and was powerful (a must for my curly hair!). The bed was really comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is an amazing bakery only a few doors down and the metro 1 line is only a couple of minutes away. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a simple and cheap stay in Paris.

Room is a little small, but clean and comfortable.
Had to move some of the furniture around so I could put my big suitcase in a place to open it. Very comfortable bed. Good view overlooking the street. Great boulangerie on the corner. We a block away from my work so it was super convenient. Also, just a 10 minute walk to Gare de Lyon. The price was very good.

Very nice hotel close to many attractions.
We enjoyed our stay at the Zazie Hotel in Paris. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. All of them could speak English so communicating with them was a delight. It is located close to many attractions. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. There are lots of great restaurants in very close proximity. But be aware that the rooms are very very tiny. There really is no place to put your luggage - so you are constantly tripping over it and trying to squeeze your way around the bed. We spent very little time in our room though, so for us it worked out great.

I enjoyed my stay in Mistral hotel very much. Staff was friendly, neighbourhood was great, nice calm area with plenty of restaurant around and not far from the main Paris attraction. The room was clean and service was in general very good.

My stay at Mistral was brief but sweet. Dominique was a great host. Gave me a different view of Paris. Had a great nights sleep. Would go back again. Shame about the exorbitant taxi fare to the train station of Bercy, more than double the price of the same trip the previous day.

This little hotel is in a great location, close to tons of great food and coffee. The room is small and everything in it is older, but it was comfy enough after travelling all day from Canada to Paris. The staff were very nice and spoke great English.

Good clean budget option fairly close to Gare de Lyon ( though with small children we chose not to walk). Breakfast was great value for money option for 7 euros. Great information re prebooking a shared taxi to the airport available at reception. Clean tidy room with comfortable beds, simple but all we needed for an overnight stay. Only down side was the three flights of stairs ( though workmen were installing a lift while we were there). Probably not a good choice for a person in a wheelchair.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is literally a block away from the metro - the M1 is a very convenient line to almost all the main tourist sights. there are some restaurants in the area, but none really worth it. There was some renovation going on, so elevator was not working, some exposed boards in the walls. the floor by our bathroom door sagged everytime you stepped on it - was worried that i would fall through! Good wi-fi, clean rooms. on a budget, it was a good hotel to stay at for location, cleanliness, it was just a bit dreary looking

Bon séjour au Zazie hôtel avec une chambre confortable et très propre. La salle de bain mériterait une rénovation mais l'hôtel ayant été en majorité rénové, je suppose que c'est pour bientôt ! Séjour au calme, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

On s’est basés sur les avis pour notre réservation et nous avons été franchement déçus. L’accueil était cordial, mais pas fou non plus par rapport à ce qu’on avait vu dans les avis. La chambre était très petite, non chauffée à notre arrivée, nous avons eu froid le temps que le radiateur chauffe, mal isolée (on entendait le moindre bruit de nos voisins), hyper mal finie (tout était de travers et mal fait). Il y avait du moisi sur le mur, la déco était quasi inexistante. La SDB, très petite, sentait les égouts, la lunette des WC était sale. Le linge de toilette dans un très mauvais état. Il y avait 3 petits oreillers dont un taché, pas de mini bar comme indiqué lors de la réservation. Même la déco de la salle commune n’était pas du tout comme sur les photos. L’hôtel est en travaux, ceci explique peut-être cela… La literie était confortable mais la petite couette recouverte d’un simple drap n’était pas suffisante pour dormir parfaitement. Pas de voilage, on doit choisir entre être dans le noir (rideaux occultants) ou que les voisins d’en face nous voit ! Les points positifs sont qu’une attention particulière est portée sur les gestes écolo, distributeur de produit de douche, poubelle de tri. Nous avons aussi pu laisser nos bagages à la réception pour notre dernière journée à Paris. Bref, nous ne reviendrons pas. Cet hôtel a encore bcp de progrès à faire. Peut-être que les travaux vont améliorer le confort.

Bon, Merci d'avoir apprécié notre accueil cordial, nos lits confortables, le chauffage une fois réglé bien chaud et les attentions à l'environnement. Désolés en revanche de nos approximations salle de bain. Nous faisons attention mais parfois une inattention. Vous avez aussi bien observé que nous étions en travaux dans les parties communes. Les approvisionnements en bois notamment ne nous permettent pas de finir dans les plannings prévus. Croyez bien que pour nous aussi c'est une déception. Nous avons une retouche a faire dans votre chambre en raison d'une infiltration due à nos voisins qui est aussi un peu longue à venir c'est vrai. Mais de minibar il n'y a jamais eu ici, ce n'est pas hyper écolo à vrai dire, donc il doit y avoir un malentendu de communication à rectifier. Voilà, c'est un peu long, mais bien normal de répondre à votre avis détaillé et bien observé. Plein de bonnes choses pour vos futurs séjours à Paris.

mon séjour a été de 3 nuitées chez Zazie hôtel. j'ai beaucoup apprécié le quartier du 12 ème, très dynamique. le service était parfait, les hôtes étaient très serviables et sympathiques. nous avons eu beaucoup de liberté d'aller et venir car il y avait toujours quelqu'un à l'accueil. nous reviendrons certainement lorsque nous reviendrons voir notre fils qui habite tout prêt.
