Great House
What a great stay! The house offered plenty of room for our large group. We especially enjoyed the theater, pool table & dart board. Plenty of indoor activities to keep us busy on a cold winter weekend. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking, as well. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms/showers were great too. Would definitely recommend this house. Beautiful location!

This is a great place! We loved the separation of the bedrooms upstairs so we could put the younger ones down for naps and still spend time in the main area. Beautiful kitchen, porches, and views. The activities downstairs were a hit with all, and the town itself is really cute! The only thing I’d suggest is to bring a few extra blankets, as some of the rooms were hard to adjust at night.

Large Family? No Problem!
This place has so much space! The kitchen island is huge, which is great for multiple people cooking and eating at once. The bedrooms are almost all isolated from the living areas, allowing folks to retreat and relax effectively when they choose. The basement entertainment is high quality: electronic dart board, nice pool table, and movie/gaming room with excellent acoustics. The Christmas tree upstairs was a nice touch for our family’s holiday gathering weekend. The host is responsive and kind; he even said he would ship back our toddler’s beloved stuffed animal that we left behind!

Perfect for our family
My husband and my 5 grown children (3 with spouses) and 3 grandchildren spent 4 nights here. Not only is this property beautiful architecturally, but also spacious and cozy for our large family. It has lots of room for us to spread out. Large kitchen area is fully stocked and there are plenty of lake toys and indoor/outdoor games to keep us all busy. Just on the outskirts of town-close to shopping and restaurants. Also a quick drive to itasca state park. The fitness room was a little skimpy on equipment, but we managed ok without. We all very much enjoyed our time here and wished we could stay longer!

Very spacious and roomy! The place was clean and there were plenty of activities for the group to enjoy. The kayaks and paddleboards were fun and everyone enjoyed the stay. Would definitely rent this location again in the future!

Exceeded Expectations
This was a family gathering, with 7 teens and 2 in the early 20's. How do you keep such an energetic group busy? Well, this house had it all! From the pontoon boat to corn hole, darts, billiards, cards and numerous other games that we brought, we had a blast! Plus, golf was close by and several good grocery stores (and a superb meat market) that supplied us with all we needed for great meals. Kelly was immediately available if we had any needs and the check in was a breeze. This house was just the right ticket for our family and we feel honored and blessed to have had it's use for one glorious week. Thank you Kelly.

Very Nice for a Large Group
This VRBO was very nice for a large family gathering. There was ample space for everyone to spread out for sleeping, socializing, and meals. The yard was huge and well taken care of, with many things to do outside.

Great Time for a Family Reunion
This was a great property for a family reunion! The ample bedroom space and large kitchen worked out wonderfully for a very large group of adults, teens and kids enjoying our time together. The lake (River) access, paddleboards and kayaks, meant lots of ways to spend out time. The frisbee golf nets were a big hit! Being close to the city (but not in a large town) means easy access to stores, shopping, and touristy stuff. Kelly was a wonderful host, always available if we needed him. We rented the pontoon boat for a day and that was a great relaxing time. We will stay here again! -Ed

A group of us traveled to Park Rapids for a wedding of a great friends of ours daughter. All adults ( some adult children and 5 couples. 11 total) It was close to the venue at Wilderness Bay resort and to town. the yard and the dock was beautiful. It was a short stay but using the pontoon available for rent would have been amazing, if we would have had time. Lots of cranes and ducks. The home was as described or better. Game room was great. Kelly was very responsive and helpful. Would return with no hesitation. Thank you

Amazing amenities quiet location and enough room for everyone
Our family will be talking about this vacation for years to come . We made so many memories together. Huge kitchen and dining area and lord of activities they really have thought of every age group . Movie room was a added bonus and loved 2 refrigerators . They let us check in early and had great communication. The place was so clean and Inviting they even let us add 1 extra day so happy it worked out . We definitely will stay here again .

Great place for snowmobilers

We had a great time at this property. The weather was great and there was so much yard to play outdoor games. The house was exactly how it was listed. The only items we could have used that we didnt find in the kitchen was some measuring cups and wine glasses. Everything else worked out perfectly for our group of 11! Thank you!

Remarkable Home/ Great Stay
Kelly’s place was one-of-a-kind! It easily accommodated our large family for my parents’ 50th Wedding Anniversary weekend. Bedrooms and bathrooms were plentiful and you can’t beat the giant kitchen island! Even though it was rainy most of the weekend, we enjoyed gazing out the windows, watching football, and celebrating with family. I would’ve loved some welcoming details like a wine bottle opener/more than 4 wine glasses for our celebration. It’s those little touches that make all the difference. Just a note: one light was burnt out in the living room ceiling. We appreciated all the soaps in the showers which had amazing waterfall shower heads. Overall, your home made an impression and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Gorgeous Place
Had a wonderful weekend with our family. Place was stunning, clean, had comfy beds and pillows, 3 wonderful rainfall showers with great pressure, and every kind of kitchen amenity. Additional they had fans in some of the rooms which people liked for sleeping. The pontoon we rented fit 10-12 comfortably and had Bluetooth speakers throughout. Thank you for such an amazing weekend and for always responding back so promptly.

Great Place for Family Fun!
This property provided our family of 12, ranging in age from 5 to 75, more to do than we could possibly do in a week. The kayaks and paddle boards were an especially big hit with our group. The house and property were just as beautiful and spacious as described in the listing. Kelly is a great person to deal with, and was quick to answer all of my questions.

Great place for the family vacation. Only issue we had was not enough bath towels, 14 for 14 people. We were close to town and felt like we were in the country. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Definitely would book again! We have adult children that traveled from Iowa, North Dakota, Michigan, and Minnesota. My husband and I have always enjoyed this area, and wanted to share it with our children and grandchildren. They property had a small beach area which was perfect for the little ones. And the amount of kayaks, and paddle boards were perfect! The rooms are very quiet and the theater room was an asset as adults could relax in the near by rooms and have one on one time between siblings. It's very hard for us to find a location with adequate space and bedrooms to accommodate our family. They love morning coffee and being under the same roof. A rare find, and wish we could have booked the same time frame for next year. We didn't want to leave and the grandkids asked is we could stay a 100 more days. :-)

Enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for the 14 of us. We all enjoyed the game room and the kids loved watching a movie in the theater room. It was nice having another refrigerator in the basement to keep all the beverages. Beach was nice and sandy for the kids to play. Enjoyed taking the kayaks out to explore the area. The house is rightht on the edge of town so easy to run to the grocery store or liquor store. We would definitely stay here again if we get back in this area.

family snowmobile trip
This property was beautiful! Plenty of room with 7 bedrooms and three bathrooms. There was a few questions for the owner and they replied back immediately. It is only maybe a mile and a half from Park Rapids so it was convenient to go to town if we needed something. The theater room was awesome. Maybe would be nice to have had a few blankets to cuddle up with. and some end tables to put our drinks on. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, silverware. and pots and pans. We visited here to go snowmobiling. There was plenty of parking for two pickups with long snowmobile trailers and we parked a Tahoe in the garage. The trail was close by. I would recommend this place to stay.

Christmas Gathering of 20!
We spent a cold but cozy weekend together in this wonderful home! Kelly was responsive to any issues that came up and we had lots of room to spread out with 11 adults and 9 kids (ages 3-16)! Unfortunately it was a frigid weekend so we weren’t able to get outside but we enjoyed the theater room, pool table and just gathering around the island together! Great home for large groups!
