Hot tub was pool temp, with poor explanation. Many broken, rundown fixtures around the room and property. Owner came and supervised our pool time for over an hour, listening to videos on her phone as loud as it would go. Pool chemical balance obviously not in spec.

Odd experience with little value.
Check-in was interesting as no one was there and after 3 calls of dialing "0" some one walked in the front door. Was checked-in with limited words and overview of policies, breakfast, etc. Just a weird experience. Room was clean with OK comfort. Packet of shampoo was a new to me for a $160/night room in a small MN town. Overall, not a good value for a hotel.

Arrived about 2:30 PM, no one at the front desk, dial 0 as the sign said, someone answered and said they were at lunch and would be back to the front desk in 5 minutes. There were 5 people waiting to check-in and another 2 people waiting to ask a question. Front desk person did arrive within 5 minutes. My TV did not work, the remote batteries were dead. The person at the front desk did come up immediately when called and replaced the batteries and stayed to make sure the TV worked properly. He was very cordial. Breakfast was very disappointing. There was not that much to choose from. However, our stay was quiet and the room was comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with the craft brewery a short walking distance from the hotel.

It was "okay". But the customer service was bad. Front desk was terrible. Nobody ever there, had to call from the front desk to get someone every time. Room smelt odd and hot tub was barely luke warm. Breakfast was disgusting.6/10 overall

Extremely hard beds. Had to call from the front desk to check in. TV, alarm clock, and plug-ins on the side table lamps did not work.

Mediocrity is a good word. Not sure how it has 9/10 stars. It’s probably 6-7/10 only because its basically clean more or less and with a 3/10 breakfast. Also We asked for extra blankets and got one- “can we have two..?” No you can only have one. ….ummm ok?

It was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. I gave it a 4star instead of 5star because their breakfast options could be better and and eating area cleaner.

I loved staying at Parker Prairie Grandstay. It was so clean and well taken care of. I brought my dog and had no trouble. Safe area to walk her no matter the time. We used the hotel while we visited Miltona Lake for fishing. It was a great location. Close to the lake and reasonable price.

Appears to be run by husband/wife with no other help. Upon arrival the guy that checked me in belched during check-in and didnt even seem like he cared. Room was fine. One knob to the cabinet where the frig is was missing and they had a makeshift plastic bag handle tied in there for the handle. Also, get to breakfast early because food gets put out and there is nobody around to re-supply or clean in that area. Tables were very dirty. In two days of breakfast, i didnt once see anyone even come into the kitchen area to clean or restock.

The hotel was okay....clean which was good. Hot tub was not very warm. Breakfast was very minimal....bread, one flavor yogurt, hard chocolate donuts, juice and coffee. Had a tea box with no tea....and no hot water. Check in person was not very friendly and there was no one ever at the desk (had to call number to get someone). There is not very much in the town of Parkers Prairie.....

During check in we needed to dial a phone to get someone to the front desk. Before we even got to dial the number a guy was walking towards us asking us to dial 0. We dialed the number only for the phone in his hand to ring. I immediately hung up. He checked us in and it was fine. The rooms were clean and nice. The next morning we were woken by housecleaning knocking on the door at 7:30AM. Not sure why so early. So we got ready and went to breakfast. If you like carbs you are in luck. If you want anything else - not much for protein or healthy options.

Clean but beds were extremely uncomfortable
Everything but the beds and breakfast were great. The beds were the worst I've ever experienced. The breakfast was so-so. No fruit. Just biscuits and gravy and toast.

Good place to stay
The Hotel was great. My only complaint would be the pool hours. My husband and I were there over the holiday weekend and after we got back to the hotel from dinner we wanted to sit in the pool area for a little bit. It was about 9:15pm on a Saturday night. I checked the book that was in the room and it said the pool was open daily 6am until midnight. We got our suits on and went down to the pool and there was a sign on the door saying the pool hours were 9am to 9pm. These extended hours give older couples without children the opportunity to enjoy the pool area without screaming kids. please change your hours back to reflect the books you provide in your rooms. (Just a suggestion maybe you have the pool for 18+ years old after 9pm. Just an idea. We would stay here again for sure. All in all it was a very good place to stay and the place was clean.

Don’t plan on breakfast
The owners were arguing in their native language when I walked in to check in. I walked back out since I really didn’t care to hear it. The breakfast is subpar. We have a food trailer, & if the health department saw our trailer the way the breakfast is, they would shut it down. The juice it set out & warm, the areas are dirty & I wouldn’t touch the garbage can lids if you paid me.
