It's a very cheap property and I didn't expect it to be any more than just ok so I wasn't surprised that it's not great. Ok if you're just spending a night there. Unfortunately I asked for a no smoking room and was told by reception that I had a no smoking room, but the room had a disgusting smell of stale cigarettes and even an ash tray in the room. I won't be staying there again.

PERFECT!!
Made reservations on line. Arrived everything was exactly as reserved, clean rood, air conditioning working, personal safe working. Great daily Chamber Maid service sheets, towels, clean the floor.

This is a nice Hotel. It is very good value for money and the location is excellent. There is also a washing machine facility which can be used at a cost of 30 baht. The wifi is fast and the staff are couteous and helpful.

Unfortunately the aircon was faulty. Reported it a couple of hours later and asked for a small fan but they said no have. I have stayed here in the past with no issues so it was just bad luck this time that it was so humid that night and the staff could not help.

At Soi Buakhao, where there are massage parlours and bars, LK Metro is just at the side. Going to Beach Road and Walking Street is just a Songthaew away

Great Hostel
Yes I would go back there if I ever go back to Pattaya. Love the bed in the box. The bed and pillow was a bit hard, and made it not so easy to sleep, but I was only there for 2 nights any way. It was nice and quite at night there. Please travellers, have some consideration when using the showers not too leave S...t on the floor and rubbish in the showers for the next person. Clean up after your self.....

Expedia reservation we correct, rate was correct, requested room was correct. Low hotel rates don't expect the Hilton and you won't be disappointed.

Made reservations with Expedia, great price, arrived everything was exactly as expected. Staff had my requested room all set. Room was very clean, staff helped me set things up including the in room safe. Only wished I had a chair or two in the room.

Have stayed here numerous times now. Major renovations going on on the ground floor , which are not in the Expedia blurb . Despite the works going on the staff do a very good job under difficult circumstances to make the guest feel welcome and comfortable.

soi buakhao budget hotel near Soi LK Metro
The breakfast here was good. The hotel is a bit old, but it does the trick for a budget traveler. You would have to walk 25 minutes or so to Walking Street, but a motorbike will get you there in 5 minutes, or you can walk 15 minutes to Beach Road and take the Baht Bus and get there in a few minutes. You can walk to Soi LK Metro for bars and go-go bars and be there in minutes. Massage places just across the street and around the corners are very very cheap. Good wifi and daily housekeeping, guest friendly. The basic room I had did not have a real balcony, just a small outside area to step out on and get fresh air and smoke if you wish. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

Liked the do it yourself breakfast cornflakes eggs bacon toast and tea/coffee for 110 baht. So handy for bars night clubs. Baht bus outside hotel.

Hotel was in a decent location, not too far of a walk from the beach and walking street. The street that the hotel is on has a few bars as well. The overall condition of the hotel was fine, nothing special, decent bathrooms and a fine bed. In general, a cheap hotel that's fine for staying in, in an average location.

I have stayed here before and rated it as ok on the basis that it is very cheap and you get what you pay for. After the latest trip, I would definitely give it a miss in future as the quality of room is too poor and I'd rather pay a little more for something better. The room I had stank of stale cigars. The dirt-stained bedsheets were changed for blood-stained bedsheets. The room had a back door to a small balcony and there was a gap of at least 3cm under the door. The aircon didn't work properly. The overall experience was unpleasant.

Second rate in the Soi Bukhao.
Stayed nearly 3 weeks in April/May 2016. Surly reception staff. Penny pinching attitude ... charged me for the water in the fridge and for a blanket I accidentally soiled. First room had no desk, chair or bed headboard. Shower head hanging off the wall.Second room after 4 days complaining slightly better.Don't try the breakfast... either over or undercooked. No water in the morning on at least 2 days.Would not recommend.

Good value for money
This is a good place to stay if you can find a quiet room or don't mind outside noise. It is in a good location if you don't mind walking maybe 5 or 10 minutes to the beach. It has 24 hour reception and security and CCTV which gives you peace of mind. All of the staff are polite and helpful.

IT'S A 3* BUT IT'S UNDERATED
It's a 3* hotel but it's better than that.There are all types of rooms but it's best to go for the standard room. All rooms come with AC as standard,rooms get cleaned towels and bedsheet replaced everyday. The hotel is on the main road but the room I was in was very quiet no outside noise I was able to sleep like a baby. I had no complaints with the staff because Iam not a moaner and I what I needed was mostly outside. Pattaya is a 24hr city, there's something to suit everyone and whatever pleasure you need you can get.The location of this hotel is within walking distance of everything. They are a lot of bars,restaurants and shops that sell a bit of everything from what you are used to here in the western world and there all in competion. Forex exchange and cash machines are littered everywhere. You can easily walk to the famous beach road,a giant shopping mall and it's also walking distance of the "Walking Street"There are private Taxi services all around the hotel that can take you to a lot of tourist attractions and are competitive.They can take you to attractions like"Tiger Zoo, Elephant Village,Art In Paradise,Aquarium even to the Tiffany Show and they can recommend to you a lot more other places to see and they also do airport runs. It was my first time in Thailand but I never felt out of place or lost. People are very friendly especially the women pattaya has so much to see and do. My only complaint was Thai Baht is not as cheap as I thought it be

Perfect for the beans on toast crowd. 2 stars.
Meh. Nothing special if you go cheap like I did. Close to Soi Buakhao action though. If cheap like me, better to just stay in their dorms and save more money. Room was okay, but basic. This is Thailand, good art is super cheap, spruce up the rooms a bit! BUT! If you think Heinz beans on toast and a beer at 10 a.m.is what to eat in Thailand, you'll love it. No guest fees though!

Standard hotel in a very busy street with everything around you. Nice staff, and clean. Good resturant in the hotel with breakfast buffet. I had a superior room with breafast for 2, but you will never get it when you. book in as one person. I had a overnight visitor, but have to pay for one person. Should be changed to breafast for one.

Great location and great staff
I have stayed at the hotel several times now and I keep going back because of a number of factors. It is centrally located, has great staff and breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel is an older style but can't be beaten value for money. I will be back again soon.
