We’d stay again. Despite lack of curb appeal- including indoor furniture set up outside rooms and sand/dirt all over ground and paved areas- beds and rooms are new looking and white sheets/linens clean and cozy. I love the 1950s bathrooms with yellow tile and fixtures. Place is quiet at night, no smell of smoke. Tomahawk, WI manager Cody is working very hard to fix this place up from the inside out. Handled our requests with respect and promptness. Love is the new owner’s last name I was told as my mind wondered about the type of motel I had just chosen to stay at with my mother.

Clean rooms. Updated features. Very friendly staff. Great price.

Convenient location

The property is one of two chalets at the campsite (mainly trailer homes and RVs). It was clearly very new with a double room, a room with a bunkbed and a small kitchen/living area (no bathroom - a bathroom block is 30m/100ft away). It has aircon and ceiling fans. There was a firepit (buy wood at the office) which we enjoyed one evening. The campsite itself was quiet, next to a boating/fishing lake. Fantastic stars at night. There were no blinds on the bunk-bed room window.
