"Pedro is a fantastic host who is full of information about Coimbra and the rest of Portugal. The home is very comfortable and right across the river from old town Coimbra. Lovely outdoor space with a spectacular view. There is a nearby bus that takes you to the university for only 2 euros. Excellent restaurants within a very short distance. Highly recommend!"

"The property was above all our expectations. Very clean, very comfortable, in short a home away from home. The kichen was very well stocked with all the kitchen utensils any chef would need. I used the BBQ several times, it worked perfect. I would recommend the butcher in Ansiao, great selection. We loved this place and would recommend it to anyone. A bid thanks to an awesome host."

"The process was simple and the property was everything we expected. the only negative was the shower curtain, had some mold and I did have to wash it before taking a shower so that was a bit of an oversight. Other than that the cleanliness was spot on in the remainder of the home. We enjoyed the location as it was central to our interests. The neighbourhood was friendly and the local bakery was spectacular."

"My friend and I were staying here on a trip viewing property to buy in the area. The nicest house we saw on the trip was the one we were staying in! It is every bit as good as it seems in the photos - especially the garden area. A great place to soak up the Portuguese sunshine. Jose, the owner was there to greet us and was very helpful. Although one probably does need a car to stay here although we did walk to Penela one day - 3.2 miles. - perfectly do-able."
