My husband and I stayed at Hotel Duomo during our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. We opted to get a room with a balcony/duomo view and we are so glad that we did. The location of the hotel cannot be beat - it’s extremely convenient, walkable, and close to so many amazing restaurants. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and we particularly loved the complimentary water/coffee/snack bar. Even though the hotel is located in a very busy and popular area, it is definitely worth noting that the hotel is very quiet and felt very secure as there was a staff member available at the desk 24/7. We would definitely recommend Hotel Duomo if you’re planning a trip to Firenze!

The property is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is wonderful!

The location is fabulous. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We arranged through the hotel to have our car taken to a garage and brought back to us. Everyone complains about the lift but we stayed there on the first floor, in the garden and it was wonderful. Our room damp but I it probably goes with the old word charm.

This was an unassuming hotel, off a quiet street. Bed comfortable, and everything as it should be.

I was disappointed with this hotel. Initially seems a hotel where you can sleep peaceful. I found two major inconvenients. 1) This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. My room was large. It had two floors and two rooms in the upper floor. The doors (front door and room doors) has no interior locks!! Or at least I never found it. Been in the middle of nowhere and some rooms having independent entrance (from the main hotel entrance) this was for me a security issue. 2. No air conditioner!!!! I went during the third week of October. Temperature was oscillating between 60s and 70s and the turned off the air conditioner. The room was very warm!!!! When I called they brought two fans and told to us that we could open the windows. Considering that still is not winter and also this hotel is in the middle of rural area where there are a lot of mosquitoes and other insects forget about open the windows!! On the other hand the staff was nice. The restaurant is a good one. Restaurant staff was also very nice and accessible. But my personal opinion is that hotel is too expensive and does not filled my expectations. The most near town is Siena and is 15-20 min from there.
