I made a reservation for 5/21-5/22 through Expedia. When my plans changed (on 5/19), I tried to adjust this reservation from the original date to 5/19-5/21. This would be an additional day at the hotel & provided time for Loew's to fill my original dates. The request was denied (after 72 hours) so I stayed at The Notary for the 2 days. I could not get anyone from Loew's or Expedia to help me adjust this & now have to pay for a room I didn't use when I was willing to move the time & still stay with Loew's. I am very disheartened with this.

Location, location, location A lovely hotel with the nicest staff. The hotel is conveniently located opposite Jefferson station, a few stops from the airport. There is a Macy’s, restaurants, cafe’s, grocery store, metro and bus service within minutes of the hotel. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff are very helpful and pleasant.

The receptionist was super friendly. We got an early check-in and free upgrade. The room is very comfortable and contained all the bathroom amenities we like.

The hotel is located in the downtown area of Philadelphia. It's close to many restaurants and shopping locations in the area. So, it's very convenient for those who want to explore the city by walking. The room could have been cleaner. Some items such as the table lamp were either very dusty or greasy. The room was facing the other tall building behind the hotel, so there was no view whatsoever. The bathtub was clogged on the first day. The staff had it fixed as soon as I told them about the issue, which I really appreciated.

Overall, the property was nice! I loved our housekeeping attendant, Alaina. We dined at Bank and Bourbon a few times and I was disappointed with the bar tenders. One of them became very rude when we accidentally sat in the wrong area. We had dined in previously but this time she wasn’t as friendly. I also was charged a $180 for parking. We never used parking or had a car to park. After calling customer service, they refunded the charge.

I enjoyed Lowes and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was in walking distance of a variety of restaurants. I wouldn't recommend the corner room as its small, just 1 little square as opposed to the regular room which seemed much bigger. The gym facility was well equipped. Over all i would definitely stay here again
