Great but skip the food

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: All of the above
Cons: Food
Clean, professional, great price but the morning breakfast: Food was limited, was in a hot room with no TV to view the news while drinking coffee..

Location: This Hotel should NOT be listed as an airport hotel since it is significantly away from the airport.
Staff was rude and refused to answer the telephone for over an hour because she was talking to her boyfriend.

Convenient

Posted May 22, 2014
Pros: convenience
Cons: television upgrade, add a refrigerator
Location: good location, a lot of resturants and stores close by
it was a good stay for one night. not sure if I would have stay any longer, there was no refrigerator in the room and it was a little small for my comfort.

Clean, cheap hotel

Posted May 5, 2014
This hotel doesn't come with lots of extras, but it's a great value for a bed and shower, and is conveniently located near many restaurants and stores.

Good choice near Swarthmore

Posted Apr 28, 2014
Location: Great diner a few doors away.
It is a motel style building, but the rooms have been updated beautifully and the noise level was fine when I ran the fan in the room.

Clean and safe

Posted Apr 27, 2014
I took three teenagers as a single mother there for a concert. I was concerned about the area. As I always am going to a place I don't know. It was great. Clean room friendly staff. Safe area lots if dinning and shops in the area. I would go back just for a weekend away.

Scary place

The surrounding neighborhood is fine but this place is horrible. Very noisy all night long and it seemed like some of the people lived there.

No vacation at Day's Inn in Springfield!

Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: Pretty much everything.
Location: lots of stores and restaurants
Towels were like sand paper. Heating/Air unit was just on/off, no thermostat, so I had to keep turning the heat on and off all the time...ridiculous. Noise in the parking lot kept me awake. Workers were actually moving trash bins or some other kind of noisy containers at all hours, felt like an earthquake as they moved them. When person next door took a shower, very noisy in my room as well. The adjacent restaurant didn't open until 8 a.m., so it was no help the morning I had to leave for the airport early. On a positive note, I did like that a coffee pot was available in the room. Also, curtains did not cover the entire window, so anyone could look into my room at any time, with only a view of the corner by the door, thankfully.
