I enjoyed my time in the city, and this apartment/hotel was located in a great spot. They didn't offer housekeeping services, and the walls are very thin. But the location was great. Would rebook.

Excellent place to stay with everything one needs for a long or a short stay. Super fast WiFi and a new smart TV were most welcome. The place was very clean and was most comfortable. We found some great eating spots just a five minutes walk (try Race St Cafe or Khyber Pass) and parking was just two blocks away and we felt at $30:00 a day a fair value.

It was a lovely stay. Had a little issue with the tv not connecting to the internet the night I arrived but I used the chat in the app and they were able to resolve overnight. Two things would have made my stay better; if I was not on the ground floor and if there was a bit more room or a shelf in the bathroom as there was no where to put my toiletry bag. I was working in my room during the day and didn't feel comfortable having the shades open for people to see in. The washer and dryer in the room was also a nice amenity.

Great Location
The facilities was in a perfect location close to good restaurants and transportation. The entry was secured, had an elevator, and the place was clean and ready when I arrived. Property manager responsed to my inquiries immediately.

It made me and my boyfriend field like we lived there, felt very homie and specious, had a parking garage a block away from it, located next to the train and a 10-15 minute walk to all local business and access to a lot of the historic sites located in Philly. Would definitely recommend and already planning my next trip but this time in another Sonder location. Better than staying in a hotel. Full kitchen and washer and dryer machines, equipped with smart tv, open concept and very very clean.

The room came with ear plugs, seriously! There were two pairs near each bed, and bed time it became abundantly clear why that was the case. I wish the property description mentioned that we were being placed right next to a busy street with overnight traffic/noise. Also checking in and parking are a bit more work than a typical hotel, and no lobby/desk to help out in case of needed help. Overnight parking is at least $25, and one has to go figure it out. Rooms are smaller (and taller to compensate) than it appeared in the picture.

This building is cheap construction and you can hear everything, every neighbor, even just walking causes vibrations. When I complained the, they did nothing. I could not sleep for the three nights I was there. This place has horrible customer service and even worse living conditions.

Facial recognition be warned
The property itself was great but there were two giant issues: soundproofing and facial recognition. The building is not soundproofed at all, so the noise both outside from the street and inside from the other units made it impossible to sleep. They provide earplugs but it wasn’t enough. The second issue is that our booking was nonrefundable but there was no warning when we booked that they require biometric facial recognition to check in for the property. You can’t get your money back and you can’t get into the property without checking in by scanning your ID and providing a live biometric facial recognition sample with your phone or computer. It’s annoying for people who aren’t great at technology and enraging for people who care about privacy and surveillance technology. They say that the data are deleted right away but it’s run through a third party (Persona) and there’s no way to know what their protocols actually are.

I had a terrible experience at this Sonder, so much so that I would think twice about using them again. I was given a room on the first floor, directly on the street in a pretty desolate block of Philly. I was afraid to go out alone. There was no remote in the room... I called and had one delivered but the television could not be turned on to use the remote. And there is no one around to ask. Not worth it. I'd rather stay elsewhere.

Perfect spot, will Deff stay again.
We had a blast! The area the hotel is located had a parking garage on the same block. The hotel was so clean, and worth every penny. So many coffee shops and restaurants a block or two up.

Great stay in Philly
We stayed at Sonder The Edison and had a great time. Its a great value. We had 4 of us, so the two bedroom with a sofa bed was perfect. The apartment is clean and nice, has Ikea-type furniture. Queen beds were comfortable, had black-out curtains, and they even had ear plugs on the night stand as your right by the freeway. Noise was a problem though. Kitchen is stocked with all the basic dishes, pots and pans you need, coffee maker with coffee too. We didn't need a lobby or cafe or restaurant, as we wanted to explore Phillly, not sit in a hotel restaurant. Only thing that happened was we couldn't open the lobby door with the code. Did a live-chat with customer service, but then a resident came out and let us in, also said to use your thumb on the keypad. From then on it worked about 75% of the time, just had to try again a few times.

Very comfortable and clean apartment. My family and I were visiting the city and we’re not used to not having any place to park. There were no parking spaces available and while unloading our things we were towed. That was a very unpleasant and inconvenient experience for us.

室内はきれいで調理器具や冷蔵庫などが揃っていて不便なことはありませんでした。 ただし、市庁舎などがある中心街から徒歩20分程度と少し遠く、地元のドライバー曰く夜は治安があまり良くないので日本人が出歩くには危険とのことでした。近くに気軽に飲食できる店舗は少なかったです。 上下の生活音や車の音が響いて気になりました（ホテル側も認めていて耳栓が常備してあった）が、大きな1室が周囲のホテルよりも安く利用できるので良かったとは思います。
