I recently stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in Phuket, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment I checked in until the end of my stay, everything was immaculate. The rooms were cleaned daily, offering a consistently comfortable environment. The view from my room was absolutely impeccable. The pool area was well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere, and the gym was fantastic for those looking to stay active. I can't say enough positive things about my stay—great memories were made!

This hotel is one of the few chain hotels located in Phuket Old Town. It's a perfect place to stay if you wish to spend more time in the Old Town. The hotel is a short 5 min car ride away to the heart of town. The guest room itself is large and very comfortable, newly refurbished in an old colonial style decor. There is a bit of an old smoke smell that lingers but nothing to overpowering that a room spray cannot handle. The end corners of the room seem a little dirty, but that is okay as well, as the main room areas is very clean.

This hotel is perfect for visiting the Old Phuket Town. Staff are honest and courteous. We didn’t notice it but when they realised that the airport pickup service they sent for us is cheaper than what we arranged for, they immediately informed us and offered either a refund or a room credit. They also sent a complimentary dessert and apology note. Customer service at its best! We stayed here for two nights as part of our silver wedding anniversary celebration and they have decorated the room and had a cute cake waiting for us. Truly appreciated 😊. I highly recommend a stay in this property.

The property was nice and clean, great pool area and has a Happy Hour. Room spacious. They do not have a concierge service or an airport shuttle. Alittle far from the beaches. Their is a tour office a few doors down, and a Sunday night Market within a 10min walk.

From the first interaction upon arrival in our car, the staff was extremely welcoming. The lobby is spacious and stylish, which makes it a great place to meet. The reception and check-in was professionally smooth, friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and nicely designed, and had a wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows. All this, and in a prime location for easy walkable exploring of Phuket Town shops and cafes! The breakfast had lots of options but the quality of food was a bit off for me. They make great lattes though, and it’s a convenient way to start the day. The lounge off the lobby was a perfect place to chill in between activities, and they offered a nice happy hour drink menu. This was my second stay in this hotel, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on future trips to this area. Definitely recommend!

Water pressure in the showers was very very weak. Staff had no clue to issue a receipt when issuing a payment, and pushed the responsibility to Expedia, and Expedia on the other hand says it is not their responsiblity, as payment was not collected by them. If you are a business traveller, please be aware.

The ambience, rooms, breakfast etc were comfortable and can be rated at 8.50 put of 10. The main disadvantage is that, in spite of an International crowd as guests, the staff cannot communicate in English properly. This sometimes results in a very difficult situation for the guests. I would recommend more training to be given to the staff in general, not only at the reception counter but others as well. The room in which I stayed, (No.1410) the bathroom was smelly, and the thermostat of the AC unit was not functioning properly .This need to he attended urgently.
