Solitude Awaits
This was our second time staying at the cabin. We had a very relaxing time, and were able to easily get to the nearby bike trail for multiple rides through the forest. Great bike trail to spend some time on. The cabin, like our previous stay, was very clean and organized, and was great to spend some quiet time outside on the vast deck or sitting by a relaxing fire in the living room. We can't wait to book our next trip to the cabin this coming Fall.

Wonderful woods cabin!

Peaceful Getaway
Great cabin to get away to for a more remote and quiet time. Very happy with our visit. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Really enjoyed the privacy and tranquility. Very convenient to nearby bike trail. Wil definitely be back again.

Cabin feels remote
The cabin was great and the host was super responsive and helpful. The upstairs loft is not full height, so best for kids. The bedroom downstairs was very comfortable. It was cold when we were there, but the huge deck was inviting with covered sections for rain and shade. Coming from the Chief Ladiga trail, the cabin is easily accessible right at mile marker 9 with the gate visible just off the trail. Downtown Piedmont is an easy bike ride about 5 miles down the trail.

Really peaceful getaway adjacent to the Chief Ladiga Trail. Cute, tidy, clean cabin in the middle of nature. Host was easy to work with, would definitely stay there again.

Rest and Relaxation
My husband and I, along with our pup enjoyed the cabin, the awesome deck, and the nearby hiking and bicycling trails right outside the door. A nice surprise was a gazebo/pavilion right along the Terrapin Creek just a short stroll from the cabin. This is a place to be as active or as chill as you want to be. We drove to Piedmont, an easy 15 minute drive for dinner at Shell's and at Mi Rancho - both very good. At night we enjoyed the indoor fireplace.

You do not need 4 wheel drive vehicle to reach the cabin- the gravel drive is a great driveway and has no issues in the rain

My family (kids are 11, 9, & 7) absolutely loved staying here. A short walk to the Chief Ladiga Trail - my kids did 14 miles by bike! They said this was their favorite cabin ever and loved having their own space up in the loft. Clean and great communication with owner. We made s’mores inside while watching a movie because we were too tired to build a fire outside after all that biking, but the pavilion had a great fire pit right by the stream.

Love the cabin and hidden location. Wow, what an adventure just getting there. Apparently Google Maps can take u the wrong way to a Dead End road that has been like that for 20 years. There is supposed to be a Welcome packet you receive but not via Expedia. After we got there the host was very kind and hospitable. Make sure you go up to the Lookout area! Awesome view. If u have bikes, bring them. Great trails to explore. Would definitely go back. Thanks

Great Retreat.
Nice little getaway. Cabin itself is fantastic, was very clean and had all the amenities. The vegetable garden was a nice touch (and impressive!) Lots to see and explore in the surrounding area, serves as a great base camp. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at this hidden, secluded cabin! Everything was perfect. We did a lot of hiking and exploring the acreage alongside the creek and bike trail and up to the lookout point. Enjoyed my coffee from the swing on top of the mountain! Will be back!

If you really want to get away from it all
The cabin was remote. It is on the edge of the Chief Ladiga Bike Trail and Pinhoti trailhead. There are other houses back in the woods but you won't see them. Expect to drive over a one way bridge to enter the property. Very well supplied and comfortable cabin. Incredible deck that puts you midway of the trees. Just be aware of wildlife and I wouldn't want to try to find it after dark. Perfect for a couple to get away. There is a steep loft that would work for maybe a couple of quiet kids to sleep in. I will be a return renter.
