Disappointed
The description on line (2 Adjoining Suites in a 4 Star hotel that sleeps 8) was not event close to what we received. When checking in we received 2 hotel rooms (1 on 3rd floor and 1 on 10th floor). We were told at the property that they did not have adjoining rooms, even though the "suite" on the 3rd floor had a door that opened into another locked door. Basically, they lied, they were also very patronizing and condescending. They kept blaming the 3rd party vendor (VRBO). Each had a king bed and a couch that had stains. The couches were NOT a fold out bed and we were told they did not have extra cots. We were given an extra sheet with a hole in it, a pillow and a small blanket that did not look like it had been washed recently. Even if it was a fold out, there wasn't room as the couch was jammed up right next to the desk and the bed. The 3rd floor room did not have hot water and the 10th floor room had mildew in the shower and slime on the floor of the shower. Definitely not what I have received when I booked with VRBO in the past. I feel it would have been much cheaper, but not better if I had booked with the hotel directly. I currently have 2 more trips booked through VRBO. I hope I'm not disappointed again!
