Felt very unsafe with unprofessional staff. Luckily we only stayed due to our flight being delayed. one of the bartenders charged us double for our 2 coffees (£11.08). He said it was because we asked for double shot. We disputed this and said we had the same 2 drinks in the morning and paid the normal price of (£5.54), but staff member was very aggressive and impolite. We paid the £11 for two coffees as we felt unsafe and didn’t want the situation to escalate. The bathroom in the room was dirty, flies everywhere and a foul odour coming from the bathroom drains. The bar area was the same, lots of flies and mosquitoes. Very dirty. Food was not fresh, definitely not worth the money.

After verification, for the coffee, actually we did an exception for the first coffee you ordered during the day we indeed give you a double shot free of charge and it has been clearly explained that next time you order a double shot, it will be charged.As for the room we always encourage our guest to inform the Manager on Duty for any issue encountered as we did not received any complained during your stay. Concerning the flies, being in rainy season and a tropical island we do face this kind of situation rest assured that we do regular inspection.Hope that this will not stop you from visiting us again.Sincerely,

Lovely hotel. We took advantage of the free shuttles to a beach hotel, shopping mall and airport. Pretty gardens to relax in too.

I stayed one night prior to a flight. It's average. Checking in was not smooth. I had to wait for a room. Flight crews from all the airlines stay here, so there is a lot of change over. My room was recently redone, except for the bathroom. It was ok. I did not use the free shuttle, as I had a driver. I did not use the spa or any other amenities. It's an airport hotel. It is not near anything except for the airport. Enough said.

Also: my flight arrived at 0630, early check in was requested at the time of booking and was denied upon arrival. My departure flight was at 2230 and no late check out was possible. This is suboptimal for an airport hotel.

We had to wait The transport 30 minutes upon arrival. The TV in the room was not working and they didn't manage to repair it nor offer another room. The breakfast buffet didn't include Mauritian specialities.

It was a clean and comfortable place to stay. Lovely pool and onsite restaurant. Free shuttle offered to take you to the shopping mall and Blue Bay beach as well as pick you up and take you to the airport. The beds were comfortable and I would stay here again.

It’s an airport hotel, almost walking distance to the airport, and quite nice. The rooms are modern, clean and have everything you expect. WiFi is excellent. We had a zoom meeting without problems.A nice outdoor pool area, exercise room and as a real bonus a shuttle every hour to a beautiful snorkeling beach by another hotel with beach chairs and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. We and many others were locked in because of a cyclone. The staff also spent the night, so there was no lapse in service. The restaurant is nice. Our only wish would have been to get a little something from a snack corner. Fruit or such. Altogether highly recommended, if you need a pleasant place before or after your flight or to sit out a cyclone! Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Dont waste money for this property
The hotel is only for business purpose not for holiday purpose. All the tourist attraction is far from property almost 60 mins drive. There is no veg food in hotel with no indian cook so plz dont try this property for food. Also no jain food available in mauritius. There is a huge problem for veg food so forget about jain food. All the beaches and tourist attraction is on south and north side also best beach is on Flic N Flic so plz dont waste money on this property try to book on south side quter bones or flic n flac area best for tourist and food also beach attraction. Holiday inn rooms are small and swimming pool is also very small. Dont waste money for this property try to book flic n flac area only. Thank you. Holiday Inn is famous for Business travellers not for Tourist people so plz keep in mind and dont waste money.

Clean, beautiful, comfortable stay by the airport
I’m happy that I selected the Holiday Inn Mon Tresor — it exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort (high quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.). It was also an easy 4 minute free shuttle ride from the airport. One thing to note is that their free shuttle starts running at 7am so if you are heading to the airport before then it will run you 400 rupees ($9), which is pricey for the short ride.

I had a one-night layover in Mauritius so was looking for a hotel that was covid safe and near the airport. The Holiday Inn fit the bill perfectly! They perform a rapid PCR test when you arrive, took a total of 5 mins, and the staff was very friendly and professional about it, talking me through the entire process. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The wifi is free and strong enough for me to zoom into a work meeting with my video on. Dinner was lovely (as was the Mai Tai), bartender, waiters were all friendly and covid safe. Breakfast was plentiful and good, and the shuttle back to the airport was prompt and efficient. My only suggestion (which is true for most hotels now-a-days) is maybe providing a map to the lights and light switches in the room. The rooms have nice lighting but I almost feels like a scavenger hunt to find the switch that works each light. Thank you to the staff for making my layover relaxing and refreshing.

Stopover after arriving in to Mauritius
Great hotel near the airport. Have to get an antigen Covid test before you can enter the hotel lobby. It’s done outside the hotel.. food was good and the staff were encountered were nice and helpful.
