It was more than satisfying stay, at a good part of city from which everything of interest is within maximum of 20 minutes walk. I was surprised that the receptionist asked me “if I am sure that I am not Gerardo (my name is Georgi)” as if I would not know my name all of a sudden, while the issue was within her looking at a different day for check-ins. Apart from that all went good- there was options for 5 euro per person for breakfast which should be skipped as the breakfast at the hotel restaurant is mediocre - one should walk to the nearest bakery for nice and tasty burek. The restaurant though had great dishes, which I enjoyed for a dinner, and they came at a normal price. Overall good experience 8/10

We got in very late and I was very appreciative that there was front desk staff at that hour. This is a relatively small hotel. We were very happy with how clean the room was. The floor especially was clean. There was a lingering odor of cigarette smoke. That was not particularly lovely. The size of the bathroom was great. The little balcony was nice. It was a little noisy late at night. This was a little bit unsettling. One of the things we wanted was convenience to public transportation and that was great. We were also given a couple of extra hours to check out given that we had gotten in so late. The front desk staff was very amenable . They were also very helpful. This was both the late night person and the person that we checked out with when we left. The wait staff in the restaurant was also very very nice.

Convenient location next to train and bus stations. There is a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the reception area and the hallway, but it's OK in the room (there don't seem to be any non-smoking rooms).

Fantastic staff 👏
Used hotel as a base to visit coastal towns and Podgorica. 2 minutes walk to bus station where I travelled to Budva and Kotor (1.5/2 hours) and costs €6/7 one way. 20 minutes walk to the busy part of Podgorica but straight forward walk. Staff were brilliant and hotel comfortable and amazing price.

The kindness of strangers!
Excellent and cheap option adjacent to public transport stops. Decent restaurant attached. What counts most though is how much they helped me in a crisis. Due to covid19 lockdown Montenegro shut borders on the 16th March. Svetlana on reception contacted the airport who confirmed my worst fear that my flight home was cancelled. She reassured me that as I was registered there (by law in that country) I would have a place to stay no matter what happened.She helped me contact the UK embassy, lent me the hotel computer and her own phone, a printer to print a new ticket and called me a taxi to the border as I negotiated my way out through the Dubrovnik enclave of Croatia. I would not have made it home without her help. Sincerely, thank you Hotel Evropa. When all this is over I will stay there next time I pass through and recommend to all my friends/family.

Nice hotel
Small room, but everything else was fine. Good service, good WiFi, good air conditioning and a nice bar downstairs. They printed me a map of the city to help me get around.

What a great little hotel. Staff was great and the hotel was so clean. Beds were great and lots of hot water. When we checked out at 5:30 am they had sandwiches for all 6 of for the road, great ham and cheese and an apples. Thanks so much for your kindness. Eould stay again if in town.

The hotel is 1-2 minute walk to the main city bus station which has bus lines to other cities and neighboring countries. Less than 10 min walk from the Mall of Montenegro with many shops and restaurants and supermarkets. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room is comfortable enough and clean. I will definitely come back and stay here again!

Very nice staff during stay
I was very messy during these 2 days in Montenegro. The staff help me so much they can let me paid the city tax in credit card and help me print the bus ticket The room is clean and very comfortable Very nice :)

Excellent access to train and bus stations
This hotel is a little oasis in a rather run down area of Podgorica. We choose the Hotel Evropa because of the location though not because of any particular sights or amenities in the local area. We arrived after a long drive and were thankful for the comfortable spacious room on offer and the relief offered by the air conditioning. Although the hotel is only small it does have a bar and restaurant downstairs which we took advantage of for dinner and breakfast. Although within 200 metres of both the train and bus stations the room was very quiet and our sleep was undisturbed. Reception staff were helpful and attentive. The included breakfast was adequate although choice was limited. If you have a car there is plenty of parking outside the hotel but the real advantage is the short walking distance to public transport.

this hotel was grand except that the bedroom was the size of a boxroom with a single bed. Alright for a kid but for an adult a little cramped and uncomfortable

1) The staff is so friendly and welcoming... they made me feel good. 2) I came in Exhausted; needed to Rest. They have a nice resto and bar downstairs, so you can R.E.S.T. comfortably without going anywhere. 3) They ARE 200m from both the train station and the bus station, so convenience is everything. And... just a 1 euro taxi ride from downtown. I loved it. Funky hotel that makes you feel good. ^_^

There are some stores nearby and the train station as well. I was able to walk to the downtown area really easy. Although it is dark at night, it feels safe. My room was down stairs in some convent-looking hallway.

Good 2 day stay in great location for travellers
The hotel is virtually next tot he main station and our room overlooked all the trains which was ideal for my husband who is a keen rail fan. The hotel is also less than 1 minute walk to the bus station making it an ideal transport hub. We were welcomed, greeted warmly and our room given to us despite checking in a bit early. On departure they kept our luggage as well - excellent service. The breakfast was very good, (cold buffet but wide range) and the room was spacious, a family one, had been refurbished well with modern en suite bathroom and shower fittings and other than a bulb being out above my side of the bed there was nothing to fault. The air con was quiet and effective, blackout shutters excellent and it was quiet with only 2 rooms adjacent, on a separate staircase up from the reception. Flat screen TV worked (though the digital channel info was not in English) but we didn't use it much. There was a mini bar but we switched it off and defrosted it as it wasn't needed and i saved electricitiy! When we told reception we were amused to find out the rooms HAD to have a minibar....must be a condition of hotel grading in Montenegro! We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. It is not a 'luxury' hotel, it is very traditional in the restaurant and reception, but ideal for travellers by bus or train to go at a reasonable cost (not budget but good value) and with a very good standard of room facilities and a warm welcome.
