“The cabin is great. Everything worked properly, the beds were so comfortable, lots of woods available for the wood stove to keep warm and everything was clean. The only thing I would point out is that you have to pay attention to the weather when going there. We got a snow storm and the roads were dangerous to get there and most were closed. We also got snowed in and spent the whole weekend in the cabin. It was great for us since it was what we wanted but if you plan to hike and drive around the……

“Hidden gem! Tastefully decorated, has everything you need and more. Clean, cozy, comfortable for a small family or a couple. We wanted to spend Christmas away from home and Martin’s Cabin was a home away from home inside and outside. We even had a nice Christmas tree waiting for us upon arrival. The pictures reflect exactly what the house looks like inside and out. Cozy home with a nice fireplace and a deck with lights, plenty of furniture and various BBQ grills. “A nice little cabin in a nice neighborhood. It has all the necessary amenities for a quick get away in the woods. Perfect place if you are wanting to have fun in the snow during winter. The host is extremely friendly, responsive and accommodating. We are definitely going to re-consider this place for our next visit to Alta Sierra.”

“We had a great time renting the cabin. The area is very quite and beautiful. It is exactly what we were looking for- R&R away from home. The cabin had everything that we needed. Dee, the hostess, was super helpful as well! I will highly recommend renting this cabin!”

“I usually travel with my best friend for my birthday weekend this year I wanted to make it a family trip to make memories with the grandbabies. This was a perfect place to do this. It is located at the top of the mountain so the view is amazing. Their is a game room that the grandbabies and all of us loved. Sunsets are amazing and the people around are so friendly. This I would say was the best trip and I'm excited to do it agian and we plan on booking this same cabin. Absolutely love this place”

“The cabin is super cozy, the location is ridiculous, you can see three giant sequoias from in the house, you can hike to the fifth biggest tree in the world from the house, and Maggie is an amazing host.”

“Beautiful property and an amazing 1st visit to the national forest. We will definitely be back for a stay in warm weather to hike more trails. The snow made the area really magical as there were hardly any other people around while we hiked the area. My kids loved sledding in the little hills in the yard. My husband and I appreciated the attention to detail in the cabin. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully curated for travelers.”

“My husband and I booked this trip to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. My daughter has also been asking to go camping for at least a year and we weren’t ready to buy all the equipment. This was the perfect way to get the camping experience without the commitment! The view of the river and the mountains was breath taking. The restrooms had real toilets and were immaculate. “This is a beautiful guest house tucked away along the South Fork of the Kaweah River. It's lovely hearing the river, which is just a short walk away. We had everything we needed for our few days visiting Sequoia National Park, with a comfortable bed, well-outfitted kitchen, and cushioned patio furniture to relax outside and listen to the river. The host was exceptionally responsive. Definitely recommend for a secluded, comfortable getaway!”
