“Unit smelled of mildew, it would have been nice to list a couple of of places for over night parking. Sink drains slowly and bathroom door loudly squeaks. There was human feces on the hallway floor, first floor this morning morning! Thank you for the nice touches such as earplugs, kitchen amenities and bed mattress. ”

“Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation.”

“We were in San Diego for my sons Graduation from MCRD San Diego. We wanted to enjoy a great experience off the beach with family and our stay at the Ocean Front was perfect. The house had all the amenities that we needed, it was clean, and the view from our living room was breath taking. Nothing beats drinking your coffee looking out at the Ocean. Rick (host) went above and beyond for us when we had a mishap with important luggage and there are no words to explain how thankful we are to him. If……

“Pros: The proximity to the beach and to two local coffee shops is unbeatable. The space was clean and quiet which is great for travelers with families. Everything you needed in the kitchen was there. Cons: No bath mats, heater didn't work, no clear parking spot directions, and the toilet seat was broken (I believe it was mentioned that it was broken already in past reviews, which means it still hasn't been fixed).”

“Lovely property with deck overlooking the ocean. Sit and watch the pelicans glide by. Easy walk to Ocean beach restaurants, shops and of course the beach. Access down to tide pools just a block away. Great that the place has its own parking space. Very well maintained. Host gave great instructions. Highly recommend!”

“This vacation rental is well run by customer-focused staff who keep in touch and respond to questions and needs. We found the apartment very clean and well decorated. It had a nice balance of common area - living room, kitchen, and bath - and 2 cozy private bedrooms. The location was great for quick access to both the beach and the bay.”

“Everything about our stay was perfect. The location. The rooms, the kitchen, the view! It was just a beautiful home. The bunk beds allowed for my 3 teens to share a room but not share a bed. The closeness to the beach allowed for easy access back and forth to the beach. Loved that it was so close to all the restaurants and shops. I would stay here again f we came back to san diego. The owner has a great manual for any questions/ recommendations for places to go. But really I would just recommend……
