A smallish, lovely hotel, that seems more like an inn, close to everything but in it’s own quiet space. Full of interesting artwork. Staffed by nice, helpful folks.

Hotel Stay
The bed was really uncomfortable and the wifi did not work in the room. I spoke with reception and they arranged to change the room with no trouble. The new room whilst had wifi and the bed was comfortable the room was very small, no long mirror and not enough sockets. The hotel's response was I should have booked a larger room. However they had plenty of rooms available as hardly any guests there, our last day we had to provide a time for breakfast for table service. As they did not want to do a full buffet with so few guests. On check out they tried to charge me for the taxes which I had already paid to yourselves.

Dear Tracey, thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate it. In the room 205 is a quite new mattress but I understand that 100 people, 100 different tastes. I'm happy to hear that you slept well in another room. You are right. When we have only few guests in the hotel, we serve the breakfast directly to the room or guests can have it in the restaurant or outside in the garden. I would like to also make clear the situation regarding city taxes. These extra charges are indeed excluded from the accommodation costs and it was probably mistake from side of Expedia. We are already in the contact with them so this shouldn't happen in the future. Anyway we hope you had a nice stay in Prague. Best regards, Vendula

Hotel is in the city centre but it’s very quiet ( a couple of minutes from the Lokal pub). The room was clean, comfortable bed, minibar and kettle in the room. The breakfast was very good. My friends and I had a great time in Prague!

This hotel is the perfect romantic getaway, it’s authentic and has lots of character. My and my boyfriend have just spent 3 nights here and would definitely consider returning. Good breakfast and selection, great location, and stylish hotel, we had no problems and would highly recommend.

Great hotel, friendly staff and HOT breakfast
We arrived late evening and the sofa bed had no bedding left for it, our sink was also blocked. The 24hr receptionist on duty that night (Anna?) went above and beyond to help us, running around to find us some bedding. The next morning we spoke to the manager who kindly upgraded our room and gave us complimentary wine. We were very thankful! The hotel sorted the problem and turned the issue in to a positive. The hotel itself is perfect location!! The breakfast very yummy, good choice and HOT! Definitely worth the money I would recommend. Thank you to the staff for giving us an enjoyable stay.

The hotel was in a great location as not right in center but within 10 minute walk. The hotel room was big, clean and the staff real friendly. The breakfast was real diverse and everything was delicious. One of best in travels

Amazing service very helpful in every respect. Breakfast was very good and the one evening meal we had was excellent. We had a room facing courtyard which was probably a bit noisier than the outward facing rooms.

There was not Wi-Fi. And no AC. And they get advertised that the rooms have WiFi and AC. The rooms where big and clean. Big bathroom. Also, no parking space near the hotel. You have to walk to get to the hotel.

Beautiful room and view. Loved the location, the historic character of the building, and how the historic setting was modernized to accommodate a modern hotel. Breakfast every morning and the staff there were also great. The fan in room provided adequate ventilation for this trip, but it had been much hotter it would not have been a good substitute for air conditioning. The curtains in bedroom area could have been room darkening to prevent light from flooding into the room at 6:00 a.m.

Our room had a large bedroom, sitting room & huge bathroom. It was also on a very quite street. Fabulous breakfast was included in the price & we had dinner at the restaurant Agnes, best meal we had in Prague!

This is a very old property.which doesn’t have any modern facilities like a lift and air conditioners.when we reached Prague a heat wave came to Europe and the temperature went up to 37c.it was so hot the hotel did not have any air conditioning system and we had to open the windows and sleep.our room was on second floor and due to no lift facility we had to take the luggage through stairs.the only good thing was there breakfast but it was also monotonous for the second day.all our trip to Prague was ruined as we initially planned to stay here for three days instead we stayed for two days.the bed isn’t what it is shown in the pictures.location is off. I will rate this hotel 1star instead of 4 star.

This was a last minute booking for us, so we really tried not to be harsh judges, but there were a few things that stood out that we wish we knew when booking. First, you should know this location is really great and underrated. The hotel was tucked away in a quiet corner off the main streets but surrounded by really stellar food options that we would not have found otherwise. That alone made up for the experience in the hotel, but we really just needed a place to crash and weren’t expecting anything fancy. We booked this room instead of an Airbnb because we wanted guaranteed air conditioning in the heat wave Prague was experiencing. Our air conditioner didn’t work and when we called the front desk (granted it was late) we were told there was nothing that could be done and no fans were available to be provided as an alternative. We were on the third floor with no good window circulation and the room felt like a sauna all night. At check out the next morning we learned we weren’t the only ones with this issue and witnessed other irate guests. The free breakfast looked good from afar, but when we went to pour coffee we discovered dead fruit flies in every available mug. We did try the spa services which were good for the price, but be prepared it’s not your typical spa, more like a hotel room with a massage table in it. Again, for the price we paid, it was fine, but the pamphlets made it sound like a full spa, so we just want to give an accurate picture.

We did not want to stay in a chain property that looks the same everywhere so we booked this hotel and are delighted. It’s a really interesting building a converted convent lots of stairs, turrets, and a lovely inner garden. The breakfast was great and very varied and the room was huge. Don’t expect brand new, shiny angles and stainless steel- this is not for you. Also you need to be fairly mobile for some stairs. But it’s lovely and the location is perfect !!
