Room was dirty, smelled moldly. Front Desk employees were very rude. They spoke in Spanish while they assisted you, and from their action you can tell that they were speaking about you. Some staff at meal times were unpleasant. Very disappointed in purchasing the cable car ride tour, because at the excursion office they showed us one price, but at time of payment they charged us a higher price. Tour guide person (Raphael) was rushing us through the tour process and therefore we couldn’t take pictures at very important places, like the Christ Statue. Tour guide person, (Raphael) was bad mouthing us to another Spanish tourist. Overall not a good experience for our first time.

This is a “timeshare-forward” resort. Meaning, if you do not buy into the time-share, they have you the bare minimum. For example, unnamed alcohol, buffet only, & no access to WiFi. You are ignored if you do not have a good bracelet.

This is not a true all inclusive it is a vacation club. So if you go as a nonmember you will get a very basic room members are the only ones that get nice rooms. There is a significant difference between member and nonmember benefits at the property however it’s $10,000 to buy into the vacation club. I personally didn’t have $10,000 to buy into the vacation club. Only members get name brand liquor and can go to all restaurants and areas of the resort. Nonmembers are locked out or have to make reservations at the lower quality restaurants. I won’t be staying here again because this is not what I thought I was getting at all. But overall still enjoyed my vacation.

The vip beach was nice from afar. I was unable to visit it because my mother was in a wheelchair. Your resort is not wheelchair friendly you shouldn’t advertise it as such. I also had no help upon arrival from the guys at the door although they saw me struggling. I stayed two days although I paid for a week. I was only able to eat at the buffet and waited almost 30 mins for an omelette.

I was in Lifestyle Tropical from 04/29/24 to 05/11/24. The food, service and room were good. But 10 days from 12 was raining and windy. That was not resort problem 😀 Especially I like cabanas on the VIP beach. 👍

Rooms needs to be updated and property has to many stairs , no elevators. Food was good . Drinks are watery no flavor. But besides that I had so much fun.

The hotel needs an update DO NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURES, everything is old and on bad shape as soon you walk on the lobby .. no ac no even on the specialty restaurants,( yes on the bedroom ) every night we loose the power multiples times at night ,you have to pay for upgrades and there is many restrictions on pools and comun areas they have different color of wrists bands and that open or close comun areas you can have acces if you keep paying upgrades, but don't even that worth it, mostly all the guests are locals i think they sell day passes. The food selection is very limited, The only positive about this place is the staff they are very friendly and always ready to help. I read the reviews about this place and i give them a try i really regretted. I would ever come back to this place.

Pros:Nice size property, friendly staff, safe environment many pools and bars Cons: not many food options, the cheapest alcohol I have ever tasted. Do yourself a favor and bring your own alcohol if it rains while you are there, do not leave anything valuable near doors. My room was flooded. Everything got wet.

Lets start with the pros : - the service from servers is great, they get you drinks and stuff as well as the bar servers. - bed is comfotable Thats pretty much it. Cons : - room was extremely outdated (like something off the 90s) - musty/ moldy smell in room due to bad AC - inconsistent with snack times - bathrooms dirty - staff playing music all night long making it hard to sleep - peacocks making noise all night long - room ceiling has filtration of water - balcony door doesnt lock - main door has yo be slammed shut in order to close - all the staff trying to flirt with my wife while me being next to her - inconsistent with show times - food is ok but always cold

The tropical side wasn’t the greatest and needs to be upgraded desperately. Other than that the staff was very helpful, courteous and food was very good! Will be back to experience the VIP side.

The restauranrs are amazing. Love the Mexican and Brazilian restaurants. Didn't try the others but there are several to choose from. Had problems with our room the first night but they upgraded us to a garden view room and gave us a choice of a restaurant reservation or bottle of wine. All because of our inconvenience. Love the staff there.

Overall for the price its okay, you get what you pay for. It was a good Experience. My only downfall is I didnt have hot water for about 2 days, I also had roaches in the room. The food was average in the Buffet, the restaurants had the good food. The VIP band is great because you can go to other pools.

We had a good time at lifestyles over a 4 day stay however the front desk staff needs to be provide more information upon check in. They didn’t give us any kind of directions or information about our stay. Where to eat, when to reserve a restaurant dining, where and how to take the shuttle or even when there would be events that week, if that information isn’t going to be provided upon check in it should be provided in a pamphlet in the check in documents. In addition the check in lady was pretty rude, she assumed we knew the resort when it was our first time and probably our last time there.

Honestly the hotel exceeded our low expectations. Other reviews scared us, but to our pleasant surprise the hotel was more than adequate. The rooms could have been cleaner and I strongly think that WIFI and the safes in the room should be free… despite that the food was good, drinks were okay (most all inclusive have watered down drinks). If you book through Expedia you get the VIP plus package and have access to VIP bar. We wished that the hotel had a club but they had activities and shows so that was fine. It doesn’t take much to take a taxi or Uber to a club, why not venture out? The cons: The beach was not the best very rocky and a lot of seaweed. Playa grande/playa costambar is nearby and the beach is beautiful would recommend you visit Management I know that renovations are on going but perhaps speed up the process everyone should have the better rooms. Our friend was in an old room, and that was not right. Also you should consider having a shuttle that goes to nearby beaches that are actually representative of the islands beauty.

Beautiful beach. That being said- our building had no hot water, and we were refused a room change. The rooms were outdated and falling apart. The rooms were dirty, as was the pool area.
