Thoroughly recommended
The hotel is a lovely old mansion in a beautiful setting overlooking the sea and just over the road from a beautiful sandy cove which was wonderful for swimming. The restaurant is wonderful - we had an incredible three course dinner there and the waitress was charming. The breakfast buffet is nicely done in a very pleasant wood panelled dining room too. Our room itself was a little bare- the only mirror was in the bathroom, there weren’t many plugs and there was no hook for the shower attachment or shower curtain so only possible to have baths (though the bath was excellent!). The pool was closed because of Covid which was a shame. But overall this is a lovely little hotel with very welcoming staff and a fab restaurant in a beautiful seaside town.

Serene countryside
Beautiful grounds and gardens, lots of room to roam with chairs and loungers scattered about. Very elegant breakfast, a bit expensive, but beautifully done. Rooms are somewhat noisy, the building is very old, you can hear every footstep and creak from the wooden floorboards, but once everyone retires, there is dead silence as you are far out in the countryside. Make sure to get dinner reservations (Maison Bleu was exceptional), the local places are fully booked most evenings.

Ok hotel that needs updating.
The hotel is a little rundown and needs updating. There was a smell of smoke in the corridors and bedroom. The description on the website is misleading and there were no views of the sea from our room. Overall disappointing.

Dining is fabulous, but it ends there.
Let me start by saying that we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Great parking for guests - no fighting for street parking at this hotel. Sea view was great, but the balcony is not private and other guests can walk past your window so keep that in mind if you are looking for privacy. The hotel restaurant was beyond spectacular! A wonderful meal and I couldn't have been happier with the food! Ok, now the complaints. Hotel seemed to have great wifi coverage, but it would not connect to the internet. Asked the front desk about the problem. I was told that the wifi wasn't working because of the weather. To their credit it was raining a lot, but it was not raining in the hotel. The staff had a connection at the front desk, but the wifi was out. I didn't buy the excuse about the weather and said that if the internet signal makes it into the building it must be another issue. Staff did nothing to fix the problem. Day 2 say issue. They never lifted a finger to fix the problem. As for the room, they need to replace the carpets! Heavily soiled and not expected at the price for the room. I would probably not stay again mainly because of the management. However, I would go back to the restaurant again! and again!

This hotel has a terrific location and should be outstanding. Alas, the food in the dining room was disappointing according to French standards, and the TV in our room was completely non-functional. The lack of a shower curtain in the bathroom insured that everything got wet with the shower wand in the tub. The furniture was old and shabby. On the positive side, the room arrangement and size was very good, the service from the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the grounds are beautiful. But We expected more than we got for the price we paid.

Very conveniently positioned hotel close to town
Traditional chateau feel to hotel. Decor of old and new blended well. We found it easy to walk into the town and back or to the Boat exhibition on the waters edge and back to the hotel.

This was a very nice hotel, generally, and did deliver views of the sea, a terrace, and a pool, but the surrounding town was quite run-down. The room was clean but small. We understand that the hotel has a high-end restaurant, but dinner for two would have cost more than a night's stay. The only curiosity was that there was no door between the bathroom and the rest of the hotel room - the bathroom was tastefully outfitted with clean, modern fixtures, but it was very difficult and uncomfortable to adapt to this lack of privacy. The hotel also lacked a computer available for use by the guests.

Amazing jewel a bit off the path in Douarnenez. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. It has a very nice view of the ocean and the pool looked clean and inviting (it was too cool when I was there to enjoy). Dinner at the hotel restaurant was tasty and recommended.

Une grande déception. Un Établissement négligé. On nous a installé dans une chambre avec des fenêtres très hautes. Il faut faire au moins 1m80 pour ne pas se mettre sur les pointes des pieds.Petit déjeuner correcte.La chambre est assez grande ,le lit confortable mais petit. Ménage pas fait. Lorsqu'on a fait la remarque à l'accueil aucune réaction. Ni "on vous a oublié", ni excuses ni la moindre explication. Vers 17 heures une personne est passée mais nous avons refusé son intervention vu l'heure. La chambre se situe à l'étage sans ascenseur. La valise fait 20 kilos ? Démerdez vous. Bref un séjour assez surréaliste.

Un excellent dîner est venu compenser un hôtel tout à fait sur évalué. Les tarifs d'un hôtel qui gagnerait à être rénové ne peuvent se justifier par la seule vue d'un bout de mer. Un personnel en sous effectif occasionné des attentes nombreuses malgré un réel dévouement.

je ne connaissais pas la chaine les relais du silence et j'ai été très agréablement surpris l'hôtel en lui même à un charme certain il est idéalement situé en centre ville tout en ayant l'impression d'être à l'écart , personnel très accueillant , surclassement avec vue mer , spa seul petit bémol l'insonorisation de ma chambres (bruit de salle de bain voisine )

Angenehmes Hotel
Wir hatten ein großzügiges, schönes Zimmer im Tief-/Erdgeschoss mit Wintergarten und direktem Zugang zur Terrasse/Gartenpool; das Bad war neu renoviert und es gab eine separate Toilette. Das Frühstück war gut mit den besten Croissants auf unserer Rundreise, leider gab es außer Äpfeln und Birnen kein frisches Obst. Wegen des Wetters konnten wir den Außenpool nicht nutzen. Das Hotel besitzt ein Gourmet-Restaurant (Montag = Ruhetag), welches wir nicht besucht haben; Tagesmenü 25 Euro. Leider gab es weder einen englisch- noch deutschsprachigen Fernsehsender, trotz einiger Briten und deutschen Gästen. Mein diesbezüglicher Hinweis in der Rezeption wurde nur mit Achselzucken quittiert.

Dejligt hotel ved havet. Vores værelse var fantastisk med havudsigt; havde valgt at betale mere for værelset. Man kunne benytte hotellets restaurant eller gå ned i den lille havn, hvor der også var gode spisesteder. Hotellet havde swimmingpool, som vi benyttede om eftermiddagen; gerne også det varme spa-bad. Personalet var venligt og imødekommende.

Déco défraîchie et "cuisine" très basique.
Bonjour, nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 3 (vue mer): moquette défraîchie,peintures craquelées,meubles rayés et tachés. deux verres à pied certes ,mais dans quel but s'il n'y a pas de boisson mise à disposition. Deux pauvres bonbons dans un ramequin sale. Quant au repas,j'estime qu'il ne s'agissait pas de "cuisine" mais d'un simple "assemblage" d'aliments... Croustillant "andouille et pomme " sans pomme,là était la seule originalité du repas. Nous avons quitté tôt l'établissement,sans profiter du spa car vu l'état de la chambre nous n'avons pas voulu prendre de risque, et sans petit déjeuner car nous avons estimé que nous avions suffisamment gaspillé notre argent. Nous n'avons jamais écrit de commentaire négatif mais là, quelle déception. Seul point positif,la gentillesse du personnel.

Bien situé, accueil sympa mais pas professionnel,
à notre arrivée, la moquette de la chambre venait d'être nettoyée avec un produit à base d'ammoniaque vraiment une odeur impossible qui nous a obligé à changer de chambre. Le lendemain à 9h 15 le sauna se vidait lentement donc pas de sauna ! ce genre de chose pourrait se faire tard le soir ou tôt le matin , non ? Pas d'orange pressée au petit déjeuner
